Navigator of the Seas- Five Night Cruise April 7-12
FloridaCruiseGirl1210 replied to aprilgwynne's topic in Live Blogs
@aprilgwynne I don't think a boss paying for my internet would cover it. For me vacations are there for relaxation and to come back refreshed and excited to work. -
Hello All, I was looking at possibly booking the Chefs Table for our sailing in October. Can anyone tell me if the menu RC posts on their website is the same menu every day or is it just an example? Also those who have experienced it, how much have you paid for it... i.e. what should i keep my eye out for on the Cruise Planner for a good deal? TIA

I would doubt it. Though if you had the DBP if you got a non-alcoholic mudslide from the bar it would essentially be the same thing. -

Does anyone know where I can find a JR menu? I don't/can't eat ground beef, so I'm not sure if it would even be worth going there. I know on Oasis-class (i think) they do breakfast for free. How about on Voyager class, I know it wouldn't be complimentary? -

Traveling Day Of Cruise
FloridaCruiseGirl1210 replied to FloridaCruiseGirl1210's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have to drive I-4 for my job everyday. I spend roughly 2.5hours in my car every week day. If I don't have to drive on a major highway somewhere I will. -
Traveling Day Of Cruise

We did a 4 hour drive to Miami for our last cruise the night before (it was 3 night cruise). I was so sick before that I needed that night before but that trip back was brutal -
Traveling Day Of Cruise
FloridaCruiseGirl1210 replied to FloridaCruiseGirl1210's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
@Twangster is right, our flights round trip are cheaper than driving, getting a hotel room and paying for parking. Getting a rental car for one day is more expensive than a one way flight for us. Thank heavens we have cheap SW flights. -

Thanks ya'll! I completely understand. Traveling from anywhere not near a port sucks. I've been there and done that! -

How far do you typically live from the ports? For us it is about a 3 hour drive, so i know that as long as they don't delay us past 12:30pm we could make it via car in plenty of time. -
Hello All, I know that most people say do NOT travel the day of a cruise, however I have a few questions to those who have. We are from Orlando and our cruise is out of Ft. Lauderdale at the end of October. We have the ability to get a direct flight to Ft. Lauderdale (also the first flight of the morning for this plane). Would you think this would keep us "safe" in regards to timings. The flight is due to arrive in Ft. Lauderdale at 8am. Thanks in Advance.

Souvenir Recommendation

I love the t-shirts with the drawing and stats on the ship on the back. I wear my Mariner one weekly and its a fun reminder of our trip. -

Love Hugo as well, he was our CD on Mariner for our first RC sailing. -

Ahh Hugo, we had him on Mariner back in November. Interesting that he has jumped to Navigator... Do you think it's because he does speak Spanish and Navigator will be based in Miami instead of Mariner which will move to Cape Canaveral? -

We saw him on Mariner as well. We loved it. Such a fun addition -
Curious to hear when you think of Adventure, we will be on her for the Halloween sailing!

FLL Baggage Storage
FloridaCruiseGirl1210 replied to stevendom57's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
My best suggestion would be to call Bags to go. With an 8:30 flight out, you can still check your bags as early as 4:30pm. You could technically go back to FLL get you bags, check them and then head out to a dinner before coming back to the airport for your flight. -
