That’s not a transfer. You cancelled one package & purchased another. Poster Kirsten indicated she TRANSFERRED the refreshment package to another passenger. Did GS just move it to the child’s seapass then charge her for a DBP? And in both of these cases, didn’t you/she pay a higher on board price?

And we do that, still enjoy leaving a little treat each day.

Thank you so much but you need to concentrate on your packing!! Very pretty options if I were perhaps 30 years younger . I’ll keep looking & take pictures of any that might work.

Well I went to 5 stores today looking for little cropped sweaters to wear with my spaghetti strap dresses. The dresses are solid so I was looking for a print or a pattern. Yeah NOTHING!!! Boring black, white, brown .

Ok I will admit it. I am bringing clothes that I took on our 2018 cruise (yup got pictures). If it still fits and looks presentable, I’m still wearing it. PLEASE DONT MAKE ME SHOP!!!!!!

How did you transfer your refreshment package and $2 more pp versus what?

In addition to a cash tip, I left wrapped chocolates for our steward every day.

Mine moves. It starts as space in an upstairs closet. Then it moves to the bed in the spare bedroom THEN it starts heading downstairs to the final location in the dining room. I start the process about a month before the cruise & tweak as I go.

DBP will cost more on board. I don’t think you can cancel the refreshment package after you’ve started using it nor would you get a credit/discount for upgrading.

You can order as much as you want, the charge (if not in a GS or above) will remain the same.

We are hoping to take all 4 grands on a cruise next year (3 older boys and the princess). I will need a very large suitcase just for her! We went to the Cape last year for just a long weekend at the beach and she packed 10 outfits and changed morning, afternoon & evening so she could wear them all. Such a little diva!

And here is packing central at my house. I have all of my son’s stuff packed except his good pants/shirt/tie (that goes on top so as to minimize wrinkles), our bathing suits & my cover ups are in, the OTC drug store is ready. Going to Kohls today to see if I can find a couple of light cropped sweaters for my sleeveless dresses and a pr of nice black strappy sandals. Oh and that fashion gene I didn’t get? Looks like my DGD did!

Packing Central!

We were in 10640 last year. OMG am I spoiled!

We stayed at the Springhill Suites in Dania Beach in October ($150ish) Hotel/airport shuttle and complementary breakfast. There was a company in the lobby selling port transfers that I thought were very expensive but you could Uber to PE. We were going to POM and used SAS Transportation. In 2 weeks we are staying at the Holiday Inn Ft Lauderdale Airport ($260) and again using SAS. The Miami Grand Prix is that weekend so hotel prices are higher.

We had a spacious balcony room on Mariner. First let me say I do not like small rooms. I am claustrophobic and need space so perhaps my opinion is a little skewed but I wouldn’t even let them open the sofa bed. It just took up too much space. We only needed a third bed so we used it unopened.

Not sure it’s a LOT every day. 5 drinks is usually the tipping point.

We will be in a JS so all set with 2 a day. My son & nephew are in a balcony. I’m suggesting they opt for evening service as I don’t expect either to be up before 10, maybe later .

I’ve had complementary chocolate covered strawberries left in our room. Not appetizing. Definitely would not pay for them.

Yeah we fly into Ft Lauderdale.

I didn’t notice that in October. We got dropped off by a shuttle service & were through to boarding in less than 15 minutes. No waiting at all and no lines in the suites area. Disembarking was less than perfect but only in the pick up area. Note to self, get off & outta there before the boarding crowd shows up. I’m shooting for off by 8:30 this time.
