Back then, our ice bucket in our room was refilled twice a day, but I believe they don't provide that service anymore.
They still do but most of the time you need to request it from your room steward...Its one of the first things I ask for when I meet out steward.

Newbie to cruising. I’ve been following tons of you tubers and EVERYTHING Royal Caribbean Blog, and we don’t sail until March 2020 (I intend on being an expert first time cruiser ). There is a cruise planner sale that Matt shared. I understand that it doesn’t necessarily mean it will be on every sailing. My confusion comes from the banners at the corners of the packages. They make it appear the packages are on sale, but the packages have not changed price since they have been available to look at. The deluxe beverage package has been. $57, Refreshment package $28, and Soda package 8.99. Only now they have percentage off banners that state off on board prices. Is this how the sales work? Or is my sailing probably not on sale?
Welcome to what we call "Royals Fuzzy Math" The only way to know if its a good deal is check your cruise planner often...Looks like your doing that by knowing the package price hasn't changed.

We have learned you can’t really go by the supposed sale price...You need to continually monitor your cruise planner from the day you book and you will learn what we call the base price of the booze package. We will log on to our cruise planner and see a sale but also notice it’s not really a sale...It’s still the same base price. We call this Royal's Fuzzy Math! We will continue to monitor our Cruise Planner and when we see it below the base price, we will purchase it…If we see it lower we will cancel it and re buy it.

Yes the Aluminum beer cans ones take a bigger/special koozie. We bought one years ago on a Royal ship but I cant remember which ship.

We got off the Allure on the 7th and we were given the old style cup.
-
We always leave ours in the room when we leave the ship. They are such a low quality they are not worth taking home.

Was your itinerary affected?
Nope our itinerary was not effected. We just noticed the vibration while at the diving show and eating at Johnny Rockets. We have been on lots of Oasis class ships to know something was not right and asked but were told everything was normal.

@rtreadLove your Honor Flight Pic! Psycho is retired Air Force (28 Years) and Works at Eglin AFB. The Honor Flights are a big deal here...As they should be.

All the hotels were fantastic and the dome train rides were awesome...Made a great bloody merry. Saw tons of wildlife...Even a mama moose and her two babies in a parking lot In town. Plenty of time for exploring on our own. We would highly recommend the land tour

Sure it was called by Royal the 13 night Grand Mountain Marvels Cruisetour 7A (Post Tour)

We did our 7 day Alaska cruise on the Radiance and did a 6 day post land tour with Royal. We were worried about having to drag our luggage around but they delivered it to our rooms every night and picked them up in the morning. The land portion was just as awesome as the sea...Maybe even better.

Never done the global entry but have had TSA pre for many years. Not sure it would be worth is since TSA pre is free for me and haven't done much foreign travel lately.

We’ve never had a problem getting mixed drinks in the MDR or Chops. It can take a few minutes longer but never really that long.
-
Have heard if you bring a Universal remote control and program it for the TV in your room...You can unlock the HDMI Ports.
-
We always print extra tags and put them on our carry on. Just incase we leave or forget something somewhere on the ships...Never have but we getting older

I sailed the snowbird migration from Quebec last year that started with an overnight in Quebec. Once on board we were free to come and go 24 x 7 until it was time for our sail away on day 2.
We are doing the snowbird migration from Quebec this Oct 2019 and we were wondering about using US money or should we exchange some for Canadian money.

Just go here: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass It's far easier.
Yes it is...Thanks for the education

Go to https://issuu.com. Enter the name of your ship in the search box. It’ll return a bunch of cruise compass...Select a recent one sailing your itinerary.

From what we have experienced...If you purchase the package before your cruise, your sea pass card will have DX printed on it. If you purchase it on the ship they put a DX sticker on your sea pass. For our Allure sailing this month...Or paper set sail passes have the DX printed on them along with the barcode.

For our 31 Mar 19 cruise on the allure, we originally bought the package for $50...Canceled and rebought when it dropped to $47 bucks. Canceled again and rebought when it dropped to $44. Still checking everyday for another drop...Our best price was $41.

We have been on a few ships where they listed the theme of dinner for the windjammer in the cruise planner. Also helped us decide where we wanted to eat that evening…Love their Mongolian Barbeque
Cococay snorkeling a la carte?

I always bring my own gear including fins...Carry it all in a dive mesh bag that I attach to the back of my backpack. I've seen the way most rental dive gear is cleaned...Not even close to my standards and that's why I always bring my own.
