For the key , small ships and boarding. As other said I think 90 of the times we never experienced a queue to come back to the ship that was more than 5 minutes . Small ships tend to have more tendering ports in that case the key might be helpful as long as there is visible signs how to bypass the queue or even separate tendering exit. But if you have only one or two ports which has tendering I find it cheaper just to book a cheap shore excursion ... Just make sure you tell your guide you are not going to join (if this is what you are planning to do) . For example there are many 1 hour walking tour near the port.

If you have the chance try the food and the ice cream in the south parts of Italy they are excellent . Also remember in Italy as you go south the food and drink price goes down.

Interesting it means that or O#5 will go directly to another market with TA as the first voyage or we will have tow O ships during 2021 Spring/Summer in Europe which will be very complicate as the number of ports the O class can visit are very limited.

Since Oasis #5 is schedule to sail on 2021 I think Harmony is just a place holder for this ship ...

Usually I will come to the MDR with a button shirt and dress pants , When I just started to cruise I also carried a sport jacket but decided it is a waste of space in my suitcase and I can take another bottle of wine instead of it. Official nights started long time ago when cruise were long and people were coming with tons of luggage, the cruise got lots of revenue from the photo and other items which were associate with he official night. Today , when many people are flying to port and every luggage is chargeable and every pound cost money people trying to limit what they bring with them. If you ask me what bothers me with people next to my table (or in the elevator or in the theater) is less what they wear but the fact some people think that using deodorants in the Caribbean/European summer or wash their T shirt is optional ...

Done around 5 cruises in Europe , I must say , did not saw more suites/Tux in MDR comparing to Caribbean cruises, maybe there were from the US/other places

You can find same in RCL : 14 nights Anthem of the Seas SKY class not even star : If you want internal room , it will cost you only 8000 $ !!!

1. More new places to cruise to including Oasis classes. 2. Refresh Radiance class so the we can enjoy more new itineraries which require smaller ships. 3. More stay overs in interesting ports even if it means going out from the port during the night not loose revenues. 4. Working web site that allow to do at least what was possible to be done two years ago .. 5. More TV channels options. 6. Ability to mark your table in the WJ so people can go on the same time to take food without worry to loose the table. 7. Better breakfast in the WJ , more options , more fresh vegetables and fruits. 8. Replace Cats. 9. Better ventilation in the casino. 10. Replace JR with better Hamburger joint. 11. More comfort food during the night , WJ to be open longer. 12. Shuttle buses to the nearest city/public transportation center with Normal cost. 13. Single day drinking package. 14. Drinking cards in all cruises.

The official limit is 12 bottles , but most of the time you will not have issue if you will bring more , the only issue is that you will need to carry it in your carry on. Bottle of waters cost around 2 $ on the ship. Ship water are created on the ship and carefully tested , I can bet if you will check some of the bottle waters quality compare to the ship water you will find the ship water are better. but if you want to go on the safe side , just bring some with your own.

First , the bad rate is in the exchange stores, ATM are more about your CC company but most of the time it's a good rate , you just need to check. 100 bills are mostly OK beside taxis and small vendors. You can always use them in the supermarket (which you will need anyway to use to stock your apprtment) or in resturants. When you land in Barcelona you will also find many stores at the airport before and after imigration , you can use it there also , buying some chocolate or a dress in Zara ?

You will be near the Plaka area , you can just go to eat lunch , go to the market, checkout the Museum (Acropolis) or go to the nearest supermarket to buy local souvenir , another option will be to go to see the parliament house and the gardens near it (10 minutes walk).

Just hope it will be outsourced to another IT department, its one thing if your application do not show you what your ordered much different if your flight plans are deleted and to start your auto pilot they will need to clean the cache restart and enter it in incognito mode.

This is not a bad option as it will at least solve the issue of what to do with your suitcases .... post 9/11 many places that use to have luggage storage are closed now but still there are some private places you can use. Your option will be to take such excursions or maybe to take a ride to EWR , try to to check in your luggage early (some companies allow it if they have other early flights) and catch the train to NYC (around 15 $ per person each way).

Pisa is around 1 hour from the port , Florence is around 2 hours from the port , although you have around 13 hours in this port I would rather focus on Florence unless you really need to have a picture of your "holding" the tower ? . there are much more things to do in Florence.

Schedule maintenance message is what I get trying to go to the site. IT seem quite a long schedule maintenance (at least 12 to 18 hours) wonder if we will see some changes in the site (support more ships ? , ability to choose your C&A drink ? or any other stuff that used to work long time ago) or just O/S technical upgrade . I just hope that things that already work will continue to work (based on previous upgrades ...)

I recall in one your report you wrote they asked you for hard copy ? , it might be just when they started with the application.

Yes, I can also check in to another cruise I have during October without any issue , strange . By the way , when you do check in from the app how do you print your set sail pass ? last time I have done it I had to do the check in again from the web site and it gave me a different slot time (it did not let me just to print the set sail but needed to do the update to get to it).

Yes, tried cleaning my cache and incognito , it seem some other issue .After completing the check in in the old page I can see it was changed to update check in /set sail pass but still pressing the link do nothing. My only problem is that checking in the old system gave me the old set sail pass which is the single set sail pass for all the passengers.

Yesterday I thought it is a good time to do check in to my Greek Island cruise which is only around 40 days from now . Since Rhapsody OTS is not supported yet by the application I thought I will try via the site . So after login in I saw the cruise and pressed the check in online , well nothing happened , no check in screen , no error message just nothing . As I already know some of the site issue I tried to do the same from another browser , did not work, tried from my IPAD , same same I called Royal , got some representative who asked me to restart my computer , I was shocked to discover it did not worked, his next idea was to wait 24 hours and try again which if I need to translate it from CSR language its something "I do not really know what to do with you but I really wish you will hung up so you will become another CSR problem". Well I did not argue and waited to try again (who know maybe they have some upgrade/update done) , by the way my other near by cruises I could do the check in. Tried again today , still did not work so I called again hoping to get a representative that will not ask me to try and shutdown my router/the power in all the apartment or to stand on my had try to check in upside down. Lucky for me I got someone that already encounter this issue, here are the steps if you ever have this issue : Change your location to Australia Go to the already booked page press cruise planner press already booked again and choose check in IT will take you to the old check in page. You can also try to go directly to the page : http://www.royalcaribbean.com.au/beforeyouboard/home.do Not sure why it happens , maybe the Rhapsody is not supporting the new system yet or just a random RC IT issue.
