Question, have you looked at Viking River? My neighbors are going on their 3rd and they love it. they also have half river cruises and half full ship combined. Maybe check them out too!

That's not bad @Floski up till today mine was $55.00pp. Me like a sap booked it. I'm on Grandeur, an older ship and shorter cruise so it didn't break my bank figured I'd come out even.

Got my Deluxe Drink package for $41.00 pp, so I booked it! wasn't going to, but figured we'd break even. In a GS with access to Concierge, but who's going to stay there to drink! LOL

Ok Sabrina, I'm now looking at Allure! (Don't laugh at me!) what is Star Class? I would be booking the Grand Suite?? Does that count? I looked at Freedom's itinerary for when we want to go and it was too port intensive and I've been to all of them. I like having at least 2 sea days. Did you like Allure??

That is so exciting to think about that itinerary for your 50th. I think the reason I booked Celebrity at "off" times was because I didn't want to deal with too many children. (I'm older than you! LOL). I did book Sky Suite for all 3. My only RC sailing so far is Grandeur from Baltimore as we wanted a short one to start with (we have dogs not kids! LOL). I just really love the perks the give you for a suite, my planner is very responsive. I'm waiting also for their new deployment, not sure when that will be. With an itinerary like the Mediterranean or such, your children probably will be just fine as you will be sightseeing all day. And what kids don't just like the pool! LOL

@JLMoran, I don't know all the legal stuff switching from one to the other, However, when I booked my last X cruise a few weeks ago, My Planner at Celebrity noticed by DOB was wrong on the C&A compared to Captains, so I know they have access to both. If you don't use a TA I would book directly with Celebrity, they really seem to know what they're doing.

@monctonguy I was able to get price reductions twice on my May cruise even though I booked Non-refundable. I don't actually know if it was an actual cancel and rebook, but my TA did it. I did lose $75 OBC, but due to twice reprice saved $480. I think it's worth looking into.

That's my take and also my planners. I have to be honest with you, I was looking at Seaside too, she looks beautiful!! I think you will love it, but I know concerns about it being more of a North American type cruise. She does look like a beauty though! I would like the larger suite but couldn't justify unless I win the lottery! LOL

Here you go again! Now where and when! LOL!!! I asked my planner at "X", other than size of room and cost, nothing is different, same everything. I'm booked in Sky Suite on all 3 X Cruises, have Butler, Luminae , etc. got all 4 of the Suite perks too, so no, it's not like having Junior Suite on Rc which doesn't really get any.

HI sabrina, that's weird, I see the prices all the time for suites on RC? Is that because you're in Canada maybe? Very Strange. Hoping you are doing great!
