  1. Agreed, and I do try the non-hot dog options, they've just never been very good IMO.
  2. As mentioned above, the 11-11 beer/wine/soda perk is indeed only available on Oasis-class.
  3. Another bonus to this is that if you sail on a B2B, you only pay for the # of days in your first cruise as the garage has no way of knowing you're not getting off the ship for another cruise. And, of course, I agree with everything you posted. We always get there early for a 10:30 or 11:00 check-in time and have tons of spaces to choose from in the garage.
  4. No issues at Terminal 1 if you get there on the early side. Never sailed out of Terminal 5.
  5. Agreed but you've only had 2 meals by 5pm? I have 2 breakfasts every morning, lol. "Pre-breakfast" is usually a Park Cafe McMuffin when available or else just some pastries to go with my DL/SL cappuccino before having an actual sit down breakfast with the wife (or extended family if it's a family cruise). Then there's lunch, afternoon meal, dinner, and 2nd dinner.
  6. Our favorite free drink (when we can find it as it varies by ship, cruise, etc.) is the strawberry kiwi flavored water. I like the mango too. You can usually get them from the machines on Coco Cay as well.
  7. I'm pretty sure the SL/DL happy hour starts 30 mins before early seating for just that reason. I swear I've seen 5pm early seating before and gotten drinks from the DL at 4:30pm back before the vouchers were introduced but I could be wrong.
  8. I have seen 5:00 and 7:30 before. It's either been that or 5:30 and 8:00 in my experience.
  9. I added five cruises to my watch list last week, deleted them, and now when I try to add one it tells me I already have five saved and to clean up my list.
  10. We did 10 days on land before a 7-night Alaska cruise. Even with doing laundry towards the end of the land portion, we sure as hell weren't bringing anything fancier than jeans. Plenty of people casually dressed for formal night just like the Caribbean. Don't worry about getting dressed up.
  11. That looks very similar (possibly identical) to the turnaround day B2B menu we saw on Indy in July.
  12. I have done the exact same thing on those same 3 Oasis-class ships, lol. They really are bad. Not sure if I'll bother trying Wonder in June but probably will.
  13. So because you don't like something it's inexplicable that others do? Good attitude.
  14. Blasphemy. I usually gain roughly 10 lbs. on a 7-nighter, lol. Several pounds are water weight but still. The scarier part is that I also try to use the stairs as much as possible. Fortunately I’m a thin guy & it doesn’t take long to lose most of it back.
  15. Haven't done the family friendly show in a while and it will vary depending on the comedians but at least a decent portion should be new as some of the adult jokes usually need to be fully replaced. It's not likely to be the same joke but he uses "fudge" instead of the profane F-word. On one cruise we saw one of the comedians from the Adult show sitting in Central Park after we had seen him perform the night before and stopped to tell him how much we enjoyed his show. He seemed genuinely appreciative. We then asked if he changes up his set at all throughout the week or if it's identical (b/c we were liked him enough to go back) and he said he does try to switch up some of the show from night to night. We ended up going a 2nd time and about half his routine was indeed new. I just mentioned that anecdote to illustrate that it's really going to be dependent on who the comedians are and how they choose to arrange their material. Hope this helps.
  16. I've never had a problem until our most recent cruise. The mattress on Indy in October was hard as a rock, which was somewhat odd given that were were in a cabin about 6 cabins away from one we had in July (obviously some mattresses are replaced before others for one reason or another). Our cabin attendant said they were out of egg crates so he made the bed with a comforter under the sheets, which satisfied my wife. I can sleep on anything and prefer hard to soft but this one truly was one step away from sleeping on the floor.
  17. I live close enough to the Magic Kingdom that I can hear the fireworks every night from my house. Haven't been in a park in about 5 years. We make the occasional trip to Disney Springs for dinner but that's it. Not at all surprised at the comments in this thread. On top of the prices, it's really not the same place anymore.
  18. Glad you had a good time. We spent 7 nights on Indy last July (B2B so we could go to CocoCay twice) and another 4 in October and had a great time as always. I'm jealous, however, that Fish N Ships now has free items (nothing was free back then). My only minor complaint (b/c I enjoy eating on cruises so much) was the lack of one more free food venue besides the standard spots all Voyager/Freedom class ships have. I would have loved El Loco Fresh like Freedom has but free fish n chips or chicken fingers would have sufficed.
  19. I was waiting for that. I've had pretty good luck avoiding the full breakdowns. I've also learned how to empty the grounds myself (shhh) and deal with a couple other error messages. The DL machine on Indy had some sort of low water pressure message when I was onboard last July. The concierge told me to just ignore it and the machine worked fine. When we went back on Indy in October it still had the same message.
  20. I'll be grabbing far more free SL drinks on Wonder in June when my GS is SL-adjacent than I did on Harmony last year. I'm not even a huge drinker but when your cabin is literally connected to the SL, it will be hard not to pop in for something (could just be a soda but will more likely be a beer or a Truly, not a wine drinker) every time I'm going to/from my cabin.
  21. Huge oversight on my part! That's definitely as exciting as 10 free drinks per day and 2 BOGO meals!
  22. That's always been my definition. No judgment to those who like them, everyone has their own preferences. Many people wouldn't want to set foot in my interiors but we like them (and the savings).
