  1. Haven't ever tried printing the calendar but it should be simple enough to just create your own spreadsheet/chart/list/whatever with your booked activities/dining. It will just take a short amount of time and effort.
  2. Whomever is checking in on the app first can select a time for the other. After that you can each complete the rest of the info separately at your leisure.
  3. Glad you had a great time! I know you're getting Harmony in Galveston and I wouldn't fly if you don't have to (I won't even drive 3 hours to Ft. Lauderdale b/c PC is only an hour away but that's just personal preference). That said, check out the suite area on Wonder if you haven't. They created a "suite neighborhood" where all the GS's & OS's are located aft right by the SL/CK and, most importantly based on your above comment, the suite sun deck is also right there in the aft and it does have a small pool with some loungers that sit in shallow water. We'll be in our 2nd ever suite on Wonder in 20 days (a GS courtesy of my generous FIL) and are very much looking forward to the layout. That said, we had an amazing time in a GS on Harmony last May/June too, the changes on Wonder are just a bonus.
  4. It's still not nearly as convenient as hopping in my own car and driving an hour but we have looked into it. It still takes just as long as driving (I have to get to the nearest Brightline station and then the train ride itself isn't lightning fast). Matt lives extremely close to me and has been using Lyft to PC and it costs about the same as parking at PC. Have considered that too but I'm really fine with my current routine. All that said, saving 3K as part of a long flight to Asia for a cfruise is, of course, a very different story. My entire 7-night cruise never costs $3k total, lol, even on Wonder.
  5. Don't blame you. I won't even drive 3 hours to Ft. Lauderdale let alone fly (unless it's for Alaska). I put significant value in only having to drive an hour to PC. And props to you for carrying on after that luggage debacle. Sorry you had to go through that.
  6. Agreed. in my personal experience, you have to live here for a decade or so before lightning hits you (or your house at least), blows up your a/c unit, and fries a bunch of your electronics. Fortunately the house itself was OK and our homeowners insurance was incredibly generous in their reimbursements.
  7. The only thing you need to bring is good luck that it remains functional for the week.
  8. I like extra free stuff, lol. I make good use of the coffee machine but I'd use that for an iced coffee if allowed.
  9. The same thing exists here in the US. It’s not limited to “3rd world countries.”
  10. Not sure but I've seen several people mention not seeing it so it's very possible.
  11. As I've mentioned before (having stayed in Sky Class all of one time until next month makes it twice), nothing against our GS on Harmony, it was very nice, but we appreciated the perks far more than the room itself.
  12. I'll second this recommendation. We had an all day personalized tour planned with Rony in 2019 but sadly the ship could not dock in Roatan due to high winds. We plan to use him again when we're ready for a re-do. We communicated with him quite a bit ahead of time via e-mail.
  13. They also want to maximize the number of passengers visiting CocoCay as that generates a lot of revenue for them.
  14. FWIW, I had success calling C&A for status updates when it took 5-6 months to get the block I earned last June. It did arrive in about 5-6 months as I was told.
  15. I don’t think it’s odd. Because everyone is different, as you correctly mentioned, that’s really impossible to answer. We cruise pretty frugally and do most of our spending pre-cruise (internet, specialty restaurants, etc.) So our typical final bill is almost nothing. My advice is to think about what you, personally, might spend $ on once onboard & make a rough budget. Food or drink you haven’t pre-booked? Shopping? Charge casino to your room? Bingo? I spend so little onboard that I’m probably forgetting stuff but you get the idea.
  16. Thanks, one follow-up question. Not the best comparison given that Icon is the first of its class, but were its prices inflated from the jump or does RC not take advantage of the increased demand?
  17. Oh come on, it's nice here for at least 3 or 4 weeks a year.
  18. @twangster I'm assuming you're a good person to ask. How does booking go when a new ship's inaugural sailing is released? Do cabins fly like Taylor Swift tickets? Are TA's waiting to grab a bunch of cabins? Are they already given a block of cabins? Is it not as crazy as I'm envisioning? I'm just asking out of curiosity, not trying to make any trade secrets public. Any sort of cliff notes version would be fine. TIA.
  19. So I popped into my cruise planner today for the March 2024 cruise I just booked yesterday using MEI for the first time and unexpectedly found some OBC. I had no idea where it came from as OBC was never mentioned by my new TA. I was actually afraid it was an IT glitch b/c I have the same exact amount sitting in my cruise planner for my cruise next month. It turns out it was indeed a surprise from the TA. I was already happy with my experience... now I'm even happier. Just thought I'd share.
  20. You can also do this by clicking on "add a cruise" at the bottom of the main page of your account that lists your future cruises.
