  1. I’m picturing a redneck, with a big beer belly, no shirt, no shoes, belching as he welcomes you to his all-inclusive back yard. ??
  2. We have used this website in the past on cruises to the islands. There are day passes to these hotel pool areas, but I couldn't tell you how far any of them are from the port: https://www.resortpass.com/hotel-day-passes/Orlando-36 I suggest looking at the different ones to see what is included. Just glancing at a few of those, most cabanas provide soft drinks/water but meals/alcoholic beverages are separate.
  3. So glad to hear the quarantine has ended for you! We are sailing Odyssey in December, and look forward to the reviews on the ship to come. ?
  4. I've bid about 5 different times, 4 times low. Once we upgraded from a balcony to JS with a bid just above minimum, and the other time we won by bidding mid-price for a GS from a JS. We really wanted that one, and the bid was still over $1000 less than the GS would have cost us to book. Will be bidding on the next 3 cruises we have planned, if we can. ?
  5. We are totally 'done' with staying home, after all our other vacations (mostly cruises) cancelled this year. ? We are driving to CO from TN next week, staying overnight once coming and going, and eating from our cooler. We plan to be outdoors a lot once we arrive. We have a condo rented there, groceries are going to be picked up curbside, and our one 'meal out' will be 'in at the condo' after picking it up curbside from the restaurant. The route we have planned has a lower rate of infections than the city where we both work. We are cautious, and will be diligent about avoiding others as much as possible. We desperately need a vacation, having both been blessed with working through this entire pandemic.
  6. I also can sympathize with the crew in reference to being 'stuck' onboard. It has to be frustrating, especially being away from family during such a tough time, and for many, not earning salaries that their families need during such a time. I think that some of their frustration is probably because management hasn't conveyed how hard they are working on repatriating the crews, and not sharing info readily is pretty common for large companies. If RCI shared more info with those on the ships, I really think there would be less of what is occurring in these pics. That said, this is a publicity stunt, and I have no doubt the sleazy lawyer is chomping at the bit right now. As far as the OP goes, I personally do a lot of quietly reading here, instead of posting, as anyone can tell by my count. But someone who posts only negative news stories has an agenda. ?
  7. The majority of deaths in WA were at a nursing home, where so many already have compromised health. ? https://www.usnews.com/news/health-news/articles/2020-03-02/us-coronavirus-cases-now-at-89-as-2nd-death-new-cases-in-10-states-reported
  8. CDC said in a twitter post that the wrong info was on them. They made a mistake in the reporting.
  9. According to the stats being shared by the media on multiple sites, 80% of people have mild symptoms only. Of the 20% left, 14% have serious symptoms, with about 5% critical (needing major intervention). https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-symptoms/ https://www.sciencealert.com/large-chinese-study-finds-most-coronavirus-infections-are-mild
