  1. The $15/day plan is for 1 device connected at a time. The $22.50/day plan is for 2 devices connected at a time. Yes, you can sign out of one device and into another without a problem. The BOGO 50% off price is already reflected. $15 for 1 device and instead of paying $30 for 2 devices (15 x 2 = 30), you pay $22.50. For kids at specialty dining that qualify for the lower price, do not book them a reservation. Make a reservation for the adults only and when you arrive for your reservation, inform them your group is larger.
  2. Just a heads up for anyone stumbling upon this later, when making a reservation via Cruise Planner (dining, shore excursion, entertainment, etc), when they ask how many in your party, you stipulate how many and then there is an option to add guests from another reservation. You will need their last name and reservation number in order to do this.
  3. It would take a very low rate for me to book a guarantee for that reason. Quite often, the price difference is not that much.
  4. I hope Doc's answer made sense. It's essentially a means of folks donating to the blog on a monthly basis.
  5. Honey Stung Chicken hasn't been available in Windjammer on embarkation day lately, BUT it is available through room service
  6. Given that perspective, I think you will be fine. Would love to hear your report when you get back. Enjoy!
  7. This tip can be be applied fleet wide
  8. I haven't done either, but I am doing ABC in Feb 2017 as part of our Royal Caribbean Blog group cruise. Both sound really nice. I have been to Barbados before. Beautiful island and rather large too.

  10. I think the key with any cruise ship is to research it ahead of time and understand what it offers (and does not offer) so that your expectations are in line. I think the biggest mistake new cruisers make is not look at the major differences between various Royal Caribbean ships. There are 24 ships in the fleet, and they each offer something different. By learning about the features of each ship, I firmly believe it helps avoid issues later on.
  11. That is an enhancement I would love for them to do. Also, if you click their banner ad on the site, you can actually price out any cruise with a quote because it tracks the sale back to our sponsor.
  12. If you are a Royal Caribbean Blog Insider, yes you can! If you are not an Insider, you can learn more about joining right here: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/support
  13. That site is essentially spam. It's a bunch of third party links hoping you will click them. I can't even fathom what kind of service you'd get, nevermind actually giving them your credit card information. And I realize MEI is a sponsor, so I am far from unbiased, but I'd recommend booking with any other legitimate travel agent over them.
  14. Just added you to it. Check your email for the login information
  15. Agreed. Since we have a forum, makes sense to create a new thread for each person's planned Periscope
  16. Shameless plug: You can track the price of any Royal Caribbean cruise with the Royal Caribbean Blog Price Tracker. Right now it is only available to Royal Caribbean Blog Insiders, but we take a daily look at prices for every cruise across 4 stateroom categories and you can easily see historical data.
  17. I will also take this opportunity to thank everyone who is using our sponsor, MEI-Travel. When you support our sponsors, that in turn supports Royal Caribbean Blog. I definitely appreciate all of your support and love to hear that you are enjoying their services.
  18. I do not know what you mean by "script the cruise"
  19. Navigator is a great ship and I have two cruises booked on her: an 8-night eastern Caribbean later this month and a 9-night southern Caribbean in Feb 2017. She's a great choice
  20. If you are interested, would love to have you all join our group too!
  21. No, the Windjammer has no dress code at all. Feel free to wear shorts, tank tops and hats while dining there.
  22. I would say the biggest "issue" with going with MTD at that time may be lining up entertainment. Most show times revolve around traditional first and second dining times, so a 7:30 time could result in missing shows or eating very quickly to get out in time. Of course, if you do not care about the shows, then it's a moot issue.
