  1. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Pre pandemic, Royal would change gratuities once per year at the most. I don't see another change happening so quickly.
  2. I was able to swap between the watchlist and favorites while writing the article without issue. I was in Chrome and using incognito mode, as well as non-incognito.
  3. Yes as long as there is no protein powder
  4. You are correct. Only service animals. Unfortunately, there's no verification that the service animals are actually service animals. And to be clear, service animals will never be off the ground (i.e. in a stroller). Basically, people skirting the rules with "service dog" vests they bought on Amazon
  5. What's the differences between each of the Oasis class ships?
  6. I don't believe so because they are still beers.
  7. I don't believe so. Once they are past 36 months, they're in Adventure Ocean Aquanauts.

  9. How Royal Caribbean celebrates Christmas and New Years holidays on its cruise ships
  10. Welcome to the message boards. I am very sorry you were denied boarding because of the certificate. Did your certificate have the raised seal on it, since it was the original? I've never heard of an "old format" or a "new format" so I'm curious what it means exactly.
  11. The beach club cabanas have their own wristbands to distinguish who's a cabana guest.
  12. No, it's for only the person that buys the drink package (as per the rules).
  13. This. It's not a trend, it's just the way life goes sometimes. Medical emergencies are not new and happened pre-pandemic as well.
  14. I use Cricket (owned by AT&T) and it works just fine in USVI without any special additional plan
  15. Since you live in USA, yes, you can re-price up until your final payment date.
  16. Nope, Royal doesn't care who sleeps where.

  18. With the caveat that Covid made the cruise ship resale market nearly non-existent for the time being, I'll say a 30 year old cruise ship in 2022 is different than a 30 year old cruise ship 15-20 years ago. Not too long ago, you'd be right that a 30 year cruise ship would be overdue for being dumped by the major lines. But refurbishments (amplifications) have breathed new life into older ships compared to the last generation. Royal has invested far more into keeping these ships up to date compared to what was done in the past. Empress of the Seas was a great example of this prior to Covid. So the short answer is, yes, I do think they will keep them in service past 30 years. Especially given there's not much of a market to sell old ships other than scrap.
