  1. We were on Harmony in December, in a CLS on 17. So not star class this time. Not only were we allowed to keep our luggage with us, but also able to leave it in the room while we went to the CK for breakfast. I think we left the room between 8 and 8:30. In September we were in the 2BRAT on 8, and "allowed" to keep our luggage then too, although we didn't breakfast at CK. Go figure...
  2. We're in 8730 in September. I'm guessing MJ will be gone by then? I don't remember how the contracts work...
  3. Looking back over this today, it appears that some are taking the bug comment the wrong way. I was simply asking if the ship would like to know about it. As I would if a guest found a bug in my home. I love bugs! I relocate them to my backyard if I can catch them.
  4. Eww I hope not! Didn’t mean to cause a ruckus. The little critter ran off to…somewhere. Happy sailings!
  5. Ha! That’s what my husband said. It was in the entryway, and before I could grab a shoe or tissue it had disappeared. Kind of wondered where it scurried off to…
  6. Good morning! We’re on the Allure this week, and found a creepy bug in the room. First time to see an insect in the cabin in 8 years of cruising. My husband said it was an earwig. is this normal? Should I report it to someone?
  7. We will be on the Allure in two weeks, also with Federico as our genie. Happily following!
  8. Thank you everyone. We are booked in another 2BR AquaTheater on Allure this fall, and was interested in opinions just in case we get the chance to RU!
  9. Hi all. We experienced Star Class for the first time last year on Harmony of the Seas. And I'm hooked! We were in a 2BR AquaTheater suite, and loved it. Allure is in Galveston now, very convenient as we're in the DFW area. I was wondering how the Grand Panoramic compares. It's more expensive, but is it better? I was also wondering if the tub on the balcony is an actual hot tub, or just a soaking tub. Thanks in advance!
  10. What happens if you didn't give a thought to the crystal block while on the cruise? We reached 140 points on the final night of our Liberty sailing last October. I'm guessing we need to reach out to the LA on our Allure sailing this September?
  11. Again, thanks for all the input. It's a lot more complicated than booking a Caribbean cruise, that's for sure! I'm still not sure what to book. Now that the weather has turned cold and rainy here in Texas, I'm remembering why I like warm and sunny beaches!
  12. Thank you for the input! Observing the wildlife is important to me, so right now I'm leaning towards August. Although from what I've read, the best time to see bears and whales is June and July. I was going to surprise my husband with this trip, but maybe I should get his input on how much to budget first!
  13. Hello all. I'm interested in booking my first Alaskan cruise. I've been looking at the end of May or end of August, thinking the ports might be less crowded with school in session. Is May too cold? August too rainy? Are these good times to see wildlife? I'd love to hear the opinion of those who've been there!
  14. Thanks to everyone for the advice and encouragement! I'm trying not to let this worry me too much, but it's not easy. Surely Harmony won't sail away without me!!
  15. Hooray! I'm happy someone was able to choose a time and check in. I was beginning to think the cruise wasn't going to happen. I'll keep checking for additional time slots.
