Stuman Posted November 7, 2018 Report Posted November 7, 2018 Hi Everyone, Just a quick question. Has anyone used Lyft out of Cape Liberty N.J. Cruise Port to go home? If you have please let me know your experience. Just trying to figure out a good way to get a cab home. Thank you Stuart Quote
Lovetocruise2002 Posted November 7, 2018 Report Posted November 7, 2018 By "go home" do you mean to the airport? We used Lyft Plus in March from Cape Liberty to EWR. It was about $40 one way. It was easy to grab a ride. Once you exit the terminal, there are many cabs and ride share vehicles waiting. Quote
Stuman Posted November 8, 2018 Author Report Posted November 8, 2018 Thank you for your reply and I actually mean go to my home in long island. Quote

If you live in Long Island, it may be more cost-effective (even with tolls) to use the parking garage at Cape Liberty. They charge a flat $20 per day, so depending on the length of your trip you may find it's the better / less expensive option. Quote
Larry Muster Posted November 8, 2018 Report Posted November 8, 2018 I was one of the first off in August and had trouble getting an Uber. The drivers were all lined up waiting for surge pricing. The driver I got was someone 15+ minutes away. Quote
Matt Posted November 8, 2018 Report Posted November 8, 2018 I took a yellow cab from Cape Liberty to Newark and that was a mistake. The cab was a really beat up car and the cost was ridiculous. Lyft is a great choice. Quote
