Al Horner
As of today (9/15/18) for my sailing on the 5/18 Symphony of the Seas, the Café Select Coffee Card appears to give you 15 espresso based coffees for $31.00. On the other hand, the Refreshment pkg gives you most non-alcoholic drinks including "premium coffee" for $26/day. Does the Refreshment package premium coffees include espresso based coffees? If you're drinking just coffee (no water, no soda, no tea, no "fresh squeezed orange juice) I guess it makes sense.
JLMoran
Yes, the Refreshment Package includes all espresso-based coffee drinks: lattes, cappuccinos, Frappuccino-style beverages, etc. However, the ship’s are not consistent in how they will punch the card. Some just do one punch per drink, regardless of size, where others do one punch per espresso shot IN the drink. So a grande or venti size, which is typically two shots, will mean two punches. Since the Refreshment Package also includes bottled water and fresh-squeezed OJ, it’s not a bad purchase if you expect to be drinking a lot of medium or large espresso beverages every day and also get a couple bottles of water, maybe that OJ with breakfast. Lovetocruise2002
Totally agree with @JLMoran. If you drink anything other than coffee, the refreshment package is the way to go as it is unlimited. And very likely that between now and your cruise, it will go down a bit from $26/day at some point. Al Horner
Rose City Cruiser
You can also get canned Red Bull and bottled Powerade with the Refreshment Package. They had a station available near the gangway and outside the Windjammer Buffet on port days
