need2cruz Posted March 10 Report Posted March 10 I noticed that the waterpark excursion is no longer available to purchase for our stop here in July. I know this is going to be part of Perfect Day Mexico in the future. I'm guessing they're closing soon for renovations? Does anyone know if this is the case? We were really looking forward to this excursion this summer. Quote
TexanTwoStep Posted March 11 Report Posted March 11 You're more than likely correct. The waterpark area is included in the PDMX plans. However, Costa Maya is a nice port and they have lots of free water-based activities. There are a couple of really nice pools and I believe they have a lazy river. If you're looking for an excursion, the Bacalar Lagoon is fantastic and not too far away from the port. Quote
Lucky Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 According to Google reviews, this placed is now permanently closed as of a few weeks ago. PPPJJ-GCVAB 1 Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 ...in other Costa Maybe news....we are sitting offshore right now waiting for the winds to die down. The Cap says it might be another couple of hours until we can dock...if at all. Another Royal Caribbean ship (Symphony, I think ???) is due here today, too. Not sure if anyone (other than the Carnival ship which is ALREADY at the pier) will be calling here today ! twangster and PPPJJ-GCVAB 2 Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 The other ship is Wonder, not Symphony. She is coming up now. Maybe she'll be able to block some of the wind for us ?? We'll see.... JustMeJoe 1 Quote

WAAAYTOOO Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 So, we did end up docking after all. Props to the Cap. He did an amazing job of wedging us in next to Wonder…backwards. It was sooo fun to watch the maneuver. PPPJJ-GCVAB and OCSC Mike 2 Quote
