Hello,

during the booking process for deck 12, balcony stateroom, cabin 12700 was described with "upper berth/pullman".

Now it looks like there are only single or double sofa beds in this category.

Royal told me, on the newer ships there are almost no more pullman beds available - true?

Looking at the deck plan for quantum on the RC website it shows 12700 as cabin for 4, nothing that states there is a pullman in any cabin on deck 12.

In the Facebook group for Royal Caribbean cabins there is a post for Ovation cabin 12700 which states its a 4 berth with a pull out spa bed

So am I misreading this plan?

The asterisk states it would be a third pullman bed upon request...

That is what it looks like on the German site.  But the American site is different.  It shows the asterisk as "Stateroom with occupancy up to 4" and does not specify it as a pullman.  I am guessing there is a probably a website translation issue causing the confusion.  I am assuming it is a sofa bed with a trundle for guests 3 and 4, but I am not 100% sure myself.

Trying to remember when I was on the Anthem, kind of remember the kids having to share a pullout sofa. Have to agree, probably a translation issue. Interestingly if I select France as the country to book from, when I go to the room selection the legend itself is in English.

I booked for 3 people (1 kid) under the assumption having a pullman bed.

I understand and empathize with your situation.  You can call Royal and explain the situation if you want, you may even have some consumer protections being in Germany and booking through the German site. But if they don't have any pullman beds on the ship in the class of cabin you want, what will you do? Cancel your trip?  For a young person, the sofa bed is not a bad option, and they should do just fine sleeping on it.  This will ultimately be your choice on how you want to proceed with Royal.  I wish you the best and I hope your trip works out to be a great one!

Maybe the kid was looking forward to sleeping in a Pullman bed.

Yes. And it's much easier for storage under day.

That's what I'm trying to find out: Are there (single) pullman beds in this stateroom category on Quantum? And it seems: No.

btw: I contacted RCL Germany and they provided me with the link to the (correct) US site. *scnr*

Sorry about no pullman, but I still think you will have a great trip.  Safe Travels!
