Picture ID for 18 month old and 7 year old

Cruising in July with a group of 8. What kind of picture ID do the little ones need? Will be using birth certificates but don’t know what else we need.

Just the birth certificate for anyone 15 and under.

• Guests 15 and under do not need to show to show an ID, just the birth certificate.

Thanks Mike. I should have known that - think I read that before. First time cruising with this large a group and age range so trying to get my ducks in a row. First cruise for all of them.

Also looks like we’ll be on the same cruise. Wonder, July 14.

Indeed we will!

Multigenerational family cruises are always a bit more complicated as far as planning & coordination goes.

We've always used passports. No need to bring birth certificates along. 

In general for cruising, while you don't necessarily need a passport to go on a cruise that starts and ends in the US, it's good to have one just in case if you're stopping anywhere out of the country.

We purchased passports for my kids age 1 and 2. Took about 4 weeks for them to come in back in January.

Being a Canadian we have to have passports, I took one of my kids when she was 4 months old and we had to get a passport for her.
