Cruising Granny Posted May 20, 2024 Report Posted May 20, 2024 Cruising in July with a group of 8. What kind of picture ID do the little ones need? Will be using birth certificates but don’t know what else we need. tia Quote

Just the birth certificate for anyone 15 and under. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/can-i-cruise-with-a-birth-certificate-as-my-identification Guests 15 and under do not need to show to show an ID, just the birth certificate. Cruising Granny Posted May 20, 2024 Author Report Posted May 20, 2024 Thanks Mike. I should have known that - think I read that before. First time cruising with this large a group and age range so trying to get my ducks in a row. First cruise for all of them. Also looks like we’ll be on the same cruise. Wonder, July 14. jeffmw Posted May 21, 2024 Report Posted May 21, 2024 We've always used passports. No need to bring birth certificates along. In general for cruising, while you don't necessarily need a passport to go on a cruise that starts and ends in the US, it's good to have one just in case if you're stopping anywhere out of the country. Chicko Posted May 21, 2024 Report Posted May 21, 2024 We purchased passports for my kids age 1 and 2. Took about 4 weeks for them to come in back in January. Quote
Woody14 Posted June 4, 2024 Report Posted June 4, 2024 Being a Canadian we have to have passports, I took one of my kids when she was 4 months old and we had to get a passport for her. Quote
