Does the app not show any shows, etc. until you check in?

I see we can check in 90 days prior to sailing.  Will the app show us formal nights and theme night info?  Kind of hard to plan when no info is available.

Also, if my roommate will be a no show - should they check in 90 days prior on the app?  Or never check in?

Thanks!

The app will only show those shows which reservations can be made for prior to cruising. Once on board, only then will you be able to see all shows and theme nights. You can get a sense of what is in store by selecting a similar itinerary for your ship in the app. While not 100%, it’s a pretty good preview hack.

Check in is 45 days prior to sailing.  If you open the app and click on your profile it should show the date check in opens.

if you share the ship, date of sailing someone here may be able to guide you.  For example-I’ll be going on Anthem next month and there is a white night, 70’s night and 80’s night.

or, as stated above-you can try using the app to see the current itinerary.  The thing is it must be a cruise on that ship for the same length of sailing, otherwise it won’t be “accurate”.  “Accurate” in quotes because things are always subject to change and you won’t officially know until you are onboard and connect to ship WiFi.

app instructions to see ship sailings-then use the app for the daily planner:
select the  person icon at the top
Scroll and click on “don’t see your cruise let’s add it now”
Do NOT enter any info—click on “browse our ships”
Select the ship
Select the CURRENT sail date
Check out the daily planner
Be sure and click on the grey rectangle above the daily planner/my calendar at the bottom of your screen.  It will mention formal nights etc.  use that button each time you use the day1,day 2 etc.

Is this just a question about schedule, or about reserving shows? If you are on an Oasis or Quantum class ship, you'll have an option to reserve shows ahead of time - and that may come up before or after check in, depending on when you are cruising. Start checking on the 1st of the month, the month before you cruise. e.g. if you sail mid-June, start checking May 1. Your shows should show up in the first few days (up to a week) of that month. There are rare exceptions but generally this is the pattern most people have been reporting. If your cruise is early in the month, it will be closer to 30 days, so probably after check in. If you cruise is towards the end of a month, it will be closer to 60 days, so before check in.
