Mathmoo
Did any other BofA Royal Caribbean credit card users receive the recent emails offering 2800 bonus points for booking on the Utopia of the Seas before August 5, 2023? I received two such emails about 4 days apart (7/1 approx and 7/5) and there is no date for starting the promotion (like must book from June 27, 2023 - August 5, 2023) in the email. We booked two cruises on June 22nd (as C&A members) and my BofA card acknowledges the down payment points (400 per cruise) but no bonus points. I just spent over an hour on the phone with Royal Caribbean and have been told that THEIR webpage (internal) shows the June 27th starting date, so we won't get the rewards, but our emails offering them don't. After patiently waiting for 3 different people to search for a public posting of the starting date for the rewards, none (RCL, RCL Rewards or C&A) were able to find a public page. Does this bother anybody besides me? There had to be many many booking on our C&A day before the public release and of course both are well before June 27th. Any suggestions as to what to do next? WAAAYTOOO
Yes, I received the promo emails. The offer is for new bookings only. We have also recently booked 2 Utopia sailings but neither qualify for the bonus credits. Too bad but that’s the nature of such promos. Nothing to be done. Xaa
Hate that you missed out, but the T&C in the email also clearly shows 06/27.
ChessE4
Let's see, 2800 points is $28 when converted to OBC? If that is so, I wouldn't get too excited. I usually get a $50 credit when I book a new cruise. But I did see two of these emails.
