Joyce Kanta
Can anyone tell me what time you can get off the ship in San Juan after the cruise is over. I am looking at a 10:30 flight out of the airport and want to make sure I can get there. Normally, on the ships they let you off by 8AM
Zacharius
I don't have an exact answer for your question, but the times I have disembarked at San Juan, I have found US immigration to be particularly slow. And whenever I fly out of SJU, I have found TSA/security to be particularly slow. So, I wouldn't be super eager to cut it close.
twangster
Thete is also an agricultural check of outgoing luggage in San Juan. 10:30 feels to early to me. You might be able to pull it off if everything goes perfectly using self-assist but it's risky.
tjcruisers
As Zacharius mentions we also found customs being quite slow. Think they only had like 3 agents the time we sailed out of there
DDaley
While I agree that 10:30 seems risky for all the reasons mentioned above, in my personal experience we were off the ship and in a taxi by 7:20 and at the airport by 7:40.
smokeybandit
It all depends on how backed up the ag check station is at the airport.
