Bestcee
This may be a random question. We have a sailing booked for September 2024. We are booked for 4 people. One is elderly. What if she passes before the cruise? Will we still be able to go in the same room as a 3 instead of 4? I'm not asking about money back, I know that's what insurance is for. I'm curious if Royal would cancel us or charge us more if there's only 3 instead of 4. I noticed when I do a mock booking that 3 guests gives me limited rooms and 4 guests gives me more room options. PeloAl
I hope you at least have some sort of big suite if you're planning on 4 in a room. Also your question is pretty morbid especially since you're doing mock bookings already.
Ampurp85
OP to answer your question, you won't be automatically moved or repriced. At most you will get taxes, port fees and gratuities back if one or more guest cannot make it. smokeybandit
If you have a legit concern about the frailty of an elderly passenger then you better get travel insurance. Ryan79
