We both like the excursion to Chankanaab Park which includes a "Mexican Buffet." We never eat or drink ashore in Mexico but I find it difficult to believe RCCL would sell excursions which weren't food and drink safe. jbrinkm Posted February 18, 2023 Report Share Posted February 18, 2023 The food and beverage is probably safe but I've read several reports where people think the food is terrible and there will be a long line at the buffet. Chankanaab itself is awesome and very easy to do via taxi on your own if you want to opt out of the included food. There are other places to buy your own food inside the park that are better quality. melmar02 Posted February 19, 2023 Report Share Posted February 19, 2023 We ate at Chankanaab last February. It was OK, not a big selection. It filled everyone up enough to get back to the ship without being hangry, but I think we stopped at Sorrento's when we got back onboard.
