Erin103
I'm going on my cruise with the rest of my family. We're divided up into 3 families. We're planning to have dinner together each night in the MDR. However, my friend and I were hoping to catch Izumi Sushi. I've checked on the app and it only lists its hours as dinner time, but some have told me that it's open for lunch during sea days. Is that true? Thank you! MaryCS62
Might depend on the ship. Which one are you sailing on?
Erin103
Oasis. I looked at previous compasses and they show it as open for lunch on sea days. It's not really a big deal either way, but it'd be nice to know so we can plan.
wordell1
I would expect it to be open for lunch on sea days. You should be able to reserve in advance through the cruise planner.
MaryCS62
yes - open the app, and pick the "select a different cruise" option. Scroll past all your upcoming cruises, and at the very bottom, click on Browse our ships.. Pick Oasis, then click on the top option - currently Feb 5-12 - which is the current cruise. Pick dining at the bottom left, find Izumi under the Restaurants tab, pick Izumi sushi, then under times, click on show more, and it will show you that certain days have lunch. Those are, as said above, likely sea days, but they should be open for lunch those days.
Ampurp85
So, Izumi is a weird one. You cannot reserve lunch on the CP or Cruise planner sometimes.......even if it is an option.
Pattycruise
Last June my daughters had booked sushi and saki lunch on Oasis. They cancelled her reservation (I imagine because one of them is under 21). They were able to go to Izumi and book a lunch without saki. So I imagine it is usually open for lunch, on sea days.
