smokeybandit
Yes, there are a couple owner's suites still open. My upgrade price (currently in a GS) is $500 ($250x2) I don't see any 2 BR GS open, but those rarely are this late. Neesa
Neesa
@TheoneandonlyMICAH yes it looks like 1600 owners suite is available! We stayed in the 2 bedroom aft previously and loved it! The balcony was amazing, there are some who don't prefer it because of the superstructure but we loved it! * A total of 3 OS now available, there was only 1 this weekend! Happy bidding, hope you are successful TheoneandonlyMICAH
Neesa
@smokeybandit this is our big celebration sailing, I secured the Royal Suite day one of release. I asked about RU because I was curious if they would send out something for the 2 bedroom but more importantly because we sail on her again in August in an OS and I wanted to place bids for the 2 bedroom and Royal at that time. They are booked as of now. So I'll keep an eye out at day 60! When we were on Serenade in an OS I "won" the 2 bedroom and while I enjoyed the interior space the cabin was in no way an "upgrade" paying more I felt a bit "duped" The 2 bedroom on the Adventure was so much better. I went from an OS on deck 10 to what they called 2 bed OS with let's just say "issues". It's a 2 bedroom with 2 baths but the balcony so tiny, the aft odors and noise from the venue below did not translate to "upgrade" albeit we made the absolute best of it. Thanks so much for the great info! WAAAYTOOO

smokeybandit
1 minute ago, Neesa said: @smokeybandit...sending positive vibes for your RU bid I'm not bidding. I'd bid on an OS on a different class where the balcony size isn't cut in half. We've done the 2BRGS on this ship before. Nice room, but we've got a nice GS on the hump this cruise, so no real need to upgrade. Neesa and WAAAYTOOO 1
Neesa
Yes, the OS on this ship does totally short you on the balcony! We are on the hump also! That's a great balcony for sure! You are so right, no need to bid
Neesa
@smokeybandit nope, the cabin next to me is a JS BUT I see you on the other side, LOL! See you guys on board. Thats a fantastic cabin!

I'm hoping that one opens up. But I also bid on the owners suite as well. Fingers crossed. Hope to meet you on this cruise @smokeybandit @nessachelle Neesa
LILBEAN55
My first time on this ship. My family and I went on Oasis of the seas last year. I had a ball. There doesn't seem to be as much chatter about this cruise or Youtube videos. Should I be concerned about that it would be disappointing in comparison to Oasis? Neesa
@LILBEAN55 Nope! Don't concern yourself. Of course every sailing is so subjective but while I miss the Aqua Theater Shows and there is no Broadway type shows.... she is nice. Older yes, smaller yes, but still plenty to do. I have only sailed her once before but I have her booked again in August and I'm happy to do it. All the hype will always be focused on the new ships (alot more $$) As a Voyager class she still has ice shows which are fun as well as additional entertainment in the theater. I really enjoy my Oasis class sailings but Adventure has lots of beautiful and fun things of her own. As with every ship the food is hit or miss but I find that across the fleet. This itinerary is wonderful, I'm sure you will have a great time. Go to the Cruise Compass section on this website and click Adventure, you can see from past sailings how packed your days can be. Enjoy and of course it us what you make it. Go in knowing you are going to have a great vacation, I'm sure you will! LILBEAN55
TheoneandonlyMICAH
I agree. Oasis class ships offer more activities compared to Voyager class ships. However, in my own opinion, Adventure is more akin to what cruising use to be. By this I mean, enjoying the pools while at sea, having a great meal, and of course, enjoying the ports the ship visits. I think this will lead to a more laid back environment, which I am really looking forward to..... and to have a few Gin and Tonics. smokeybandit
Remember Adventure is still a large ship once you look outside the RC fleet. It's as large as or larger than every Carnival ship other than the 3 Excel class ships. LILBEAN55

Neesa
So we three and our families will all be inside the terminal early, 1030 check in I suspect. @smokeybandit and @TheoneandonlyMICAH I'm the one with the stupid grin like a little kid waiting to board! I'm sailing with hubby/cabash/Vintage Magnet of 350 years (really met in 1990 married in 1992) and kiddo who was my last good egg, age 17 celebrating 18 on thus sailing) Looking forward to seeing you all & your families! smokeybandit
I'd imagine doors will be already open and people inside waiting for ship clearance by 10:30. Neesa
Neesa
Are you @smokeybandit because you like fast cars? If so you and cabash have a common hobby. Are you celebrating high school graduation as well? Im excited but am trying to enjoy this last month of high school, banquets, prom, celebration breakfast. How fast they grow up. We have not been on a ship since last June though, I purchased my ALLIANZ policy and am ready, LETS GO!!

And we'll be "celebrating" (hopefully) surviving the first year of middle school. Neesa
TheoneandonlyMICAH
Lol. I have a 9 year old and I am already having panic attacks about her going to middle school and high school. Trying to get as many cruises in with her before she turns 13 and I have to pay for her as an adult fare. This cruise we got as part of the " kids sail free" promo. But yes.... I am soooo ready for this. My only concern will be the new construction near the parking terminal. I wonder how it will impact the drive up there. TheoneandonlyMICAH
Is it me, or does it seem like June 7th will never get here? Also.. @smokeybandit I am a big fan of a boulevardier and negroni. Saw your message on Monday's Youtube about best drinks onboard.
