Family of four ( 2 boys 10 & 13) looking for some fun things to do in Nassau since we didn't book any paid excursions that day. Would prefer not to just go to a beach when we are there.  Any ideas would be appreciated!

This is going to be trite, but maybe stay on the boat and do the slides and things that often have a line on sea days.  Enjoy the ship when it's less crowded.  Jane

I believe there is a pirate museum in Nassau. I haven’t been to it so can't say what it's like but that might be something that would work for your family.

The Graycliff chocolatier tour is fun if you haven't done a similar tour elsewhere, and walkable from the ship as long as you don't mind the heat.

The waters around Nassau are stunning and there are several shades of blue.

Using the top deck of the ship have the kids select the the most beautiful Tiffany blue water they can see. Get off the ship and search out that water for a selfie fest in that amazing water. While you are there take note that the water is uniform and stays that hue even as the water gets deeper. Yet, you pick up a handful and it is clear.

HINT: Head over to the beaches next to Fish Fry. You can take a cab which will be the most expensive way to get there and back. You can take a public bus with will cost about $2.50 a head. Or, you can make it a long walk-- which is free.

Been a while since I was in Nassau. There's a lot history there. maybe download a self guided tour. Climb the Queen's staircase, up to the fort.  When we were there with the kids 25 years ago, we were just walking around and a local guy offered a guided tour. It was very good so we tipped him. The "kids" still talk about it.

We are going to Nasssau in Feb. There are 8 of us, including 2 kids and 1 person with mobility issues. I am considering booking this private tour for the morning and then either hanging at the beach or on the boat in the afternoon.
