MrsJackie
I realize that there are many variables, but what are peoples' preferences for Port Canaveral Terminal Parking vs. off-site parking with shuttles? We sail on November 27, 2022 on the Jewel of the Seas, leaving from CT5. Thanks for sharing.

Parking at the Terminal costs more but it is the most convenient, not to mention having your car in a secured location. MrsJackie
Pooch
I was firmly in the lower price off site camp until we used the terminal parking in March. Beyond convenient! More than well worth the extra $45. On the highway ten minutes after we disembarked. It would have been 5 but we let a large family with small children take the elevator before us. AshleyDillo
If you decide to go with parking at Terminal 5, pack your patience. With this garage you will pay upon exiting, so it tends to back up things up into the parking garage as people try to figure out how to swipe their cards. With the backup, it makes it extremely difficult to back out of your parking spot to join the line. While it's convenient to be able to get in your car and go, from Terminal 5 that only really works if you get self-disembark and carry your luggage off yourself to beat the crowd to the parking garage. Also arriving early as well to get a parking spot on the first parking level (Deck 2, which is also where you will enter the terminal) can help with being able to get out of your spot fast and beat the exiting crowd. While Terminal 1 is well worth the extra money (you pay BEFORE you park there), I'd almost be willing to pay less for the inconvenience of having to shuttle to the port from an offsite lot to not have to deal with the T5 mess again. Firephotog51
We use CruiseTime Parking Website: https://www.cruisetimeparking.com 350 Fortenberry Rd., Merritt Island, FL 32952 Phone: 321-591-0854 Email: [email protected] They have always provided top service at a very fair price on our previous cruises. We highly recommend them and will book with them again on our future cruises. They aren't fancy but they provide good service.
