Kezolly Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 Hi we are going on our first cruise on the Harmony of the seas in April to Labadee, Falmouth and Cozumel and are trying to find out if we need any vaccinations. Have contacted the doctor but they haven't given us any awnsers. Has anyone been on this cruise and know any about vaccinations for it? Thank you in advance PeterElicy 1 Quote
pamw Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 Not sure if you are in the UK? We here go to see our Nurse in the GP's and take a list of countries we are visiting. The nurse checks through their list and advises accordingly. Quote
DocLC Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 I've never been advised to get inoculations not have I ever gotten them in 20+ years of cruising the Caribbean. coneyraven 1 Quote
Matt Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 I'm no medical professional, but I've never received any special shots for a Caribbean cruise. Quote
Gears Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 My wife and I have Hepatitis A & B vaccinations which are good for 10 years, but nothing else. Quote
pamw Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 We had the Hep A/B and also Yellow Fever for one cruise. Malaria tablets have also been recommended for certain countries. Quote
DaveWithHat Posted March 14, 2017 Report Posted March 14, 2017 The US has good resources for travelers at https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/ They also provide links to travel clinics where you can get additional advice and info. Quote
