Nathan_O
Does anyone know if you can book a balcony room capable of sleeping 3 for 2 cruisers and possibly add a 3rd at a later date? Or is it better to book for 3 and if the 3rd can't do it, cancel the 3rd cruiser?
ellcee
You can't add without repricing but you can have a no-show - they'll just refund the port fees for that 3rd person. Ampurp85

My advice would be to book for three and then cancel the 3rd before final payment. You would potentially lose the deposit for the 3rd person but may save more by not having a reprice close to sail date when prices are typically highest. PPPJJ-GCVAB
When you book a balcony for 2 people you will need to pay the extra price for a more spacious balcony room which would accommodate 3 people (large sleeper sofa). Third person always has a cheaper price so if that third person decides to go, yes, you need to reprice but if you split 3 ways (meaning each person shares the price of one third of the room) then it might not be a substantial increase adding that third person. Of course, keeping that room for just 2 is more costly but it’s only way to be able to add that third person without having to switch rooms.
