foxrunner
Do they free weights or is it more of an Planet Fitness setup with all machines? Do they have a squat rack and bench? Merry Happy!
FionaMG
I have not been on Allure but every Royal ship I have been on, including Oasis and Harmony, has had a free weights area. I can't say what specific equipment they had though since I usually just stick to cardio when I'm cruising. foxrunner

Ditchdoc
It is a nice gym. Mostly Life Fitness and Hammer equipment. Treamills, stationary bikes, elliptical. Circuit machines, racks of dumbbells and benches, barbells and a squat rack. Floor exercise area. KristiZ and foxrunner 1
FionaMG
I love the gyms on Royal. They have much better equipment than my local gym, which is run by the municipality. I don't know if you have a specific time you like to train but I have found if you go late afternoon / early evening, from about 4.30 pm onwards, it tends to be pretty quiet. I have heard it can be really busy first thing in the morning. foxrunner

sabarwolf
Little bit of everything: free weights, weight stack machines, and cardio equip. Just be aware that the gym hours are concurrent with the spa hours-- because you'll have to walk through the spa to get to the gym. (Real bummer for me when I sailed on Allure last August. I'm an early morning gym goer.) foxrunner
