Updating cruise documents

We are t minus 16 days until we can check in and complete our documents. (Woohoo!)  But we have not heard from one person in our party about whether they've gotten their new passport yet. If they haven't, are we able to add in their number at a later date?

Worst case scenario, they can use their license (and birth certificate?) and just not get off the ship, correct?

Yes, you can update/ revise traveler information anytime until a couple days before departure.

I may be wrong, but I believe you can still get off the ship without a passport. Most ports will let you through into the secured area with your seapass card. Of course, should that person be stranded at a port, only having a license and birth certificate won't help much

If you are 90 + 16 days out there is plenty of time for the passports to arrive.  You don't need to check in too early, although we try to do so 30-60 days out.

You don't have to put the passport information in at all and if it comes before the cruise they can still use it to board.

You can get on/off the ship even if you didn't board with a passport.  It's just that you need a passport if for some reason you miss the ship and get stuck at a port you would be able to more easily get home.
