emtbhardy
I booked a cruise on symphony of the seas for april 25 20. I called my the travel agency I used to see how much it was gonna be. They told me it was gonna be extra $2000 because the cruise price had went up. I have cruised solo before and know that I am paying for two people when I go solo. But I was always under the impression that all I have to do was pay taxes and port fees for the second person. Is that not correct or should I call royal to add person on later after the cruise is paid for being I went through travel agency or is that something that royal can take care of right now. Thanks for your help.
Lovetocruise2002
They are correct. If you add another person to an existing reservation, your cruise will be re-priced at current rates (which probably explains the increase because rates tend to go up over time). The only way to lock down the price is if you have 3 or more people on the original reservation. Matt
twangster
Hmmm. I once inquired about adding someone to a solo booking and I was told it would be port fees and taxes. They couldn't make it so i never went through with it.
ellcee
Just asked Michelle from MEI about this for a future cruise and she said it was have to be repriced.
Matt
Adding or removing a person can change the price of a cruise. Swapping people usually has no cost (provided at least one person from original reservation remains on reservation).
