Showers on CoCoCay

Recommended Posts

In some videos and photos, I notice there is a shower area on the island.   This is going to sound strange, but just how “showery” are they?  I know they are for rinsing sand and chlorine off of you after swimming, etc, but is it just one room with a bunch of showerheads?  Is is a bunch of stalls with curtains or dividers?  Could you bring a travel shampoo and actually wash the sand/chemicals out?  Thanks!

The brochure says there are plenty of freshwater showers throughout the park, but the only ones I remember from previous visits were outside.  I didn't use one on my last trip, so you'll need another traveler to confirm.

In the waterpark area, there is a building with showers in it...in the same building as the restrooms. Not sure if they are separate shower stalls or not as I didn't go in that section of the building.
