Blondie511 Posted May 27, 2019 Report Share Posted May 27, 2019 I found a great cruise that leaves from Miami, but airfare for us to Miami was crazy expensive. Airfare was reasonable for Fort Lauderdale, which is about a 45 minute Uber ride. If a ship docks at Miami at 8:00am, has to clear customs, wait in lines, etc. then I catch an Uber to the Fort Lauderdale airport, after what time would you be comfortable booking your return flight? (I like to be extra cautious and not be freaking out that I might miss my flight!). I was thinking any time after noon????? Lovetocruise2002 Posted May 27, 2019 Report Share Posted May 27, 2019 We are doing this in July for Symphony. Our return flight from Fort Lauderdale is 11:30am. I probably would not be comfortable before this. We plan to get off the ship around 7:30am. We've done this before and it's worth the savings in airfare.
