Sweety
I Havana we did a private tour with Blexie. We loved the tour. Our tour guide was a teacher in Cuba. I am a teacher. We have many interesting conversations.
JLMoran
Give a listen to episode 285 of @Matt's Royal Caribbean Blog Podcast -- it covers a Cuba Immersion cruise that visits both of your destinations. I seem to recall hearing a clear warning to only go with cruise-sponsored excursions at Cienfuegos, as there are not really any third-party options and the area is much more rural and potentially risky to explore on your own. Havana is much more open to self-exploration from all that I've heard and read.
bcarney
@JLMoran thanks for the reminder about the podcast! We just booked a Havana/Cozumel cruise in July (I'll likely die from heatstroke, but anyways...) and I'm scouring the boards looking for Havana tips. twangster
Consider this Empress Live Blog from July 2018 for Havana ideas: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/8865-empress-73018-5-nights-inc-cuba/
