Vee2525
Hello All, Looking at the schedule of me and my boyfriends upcoming cruise in Dec 2019. And thinking it seems kinda hectic to me. Have few nights of specialty dinning planned, a Shore excursion for each of the 4 ports, and spa activities for at least 3 nights of the cruise. Having day and night planned with an activity seems like it would be exhausting. Am I overbooking me and my boyfriend? My question is is with a full day and a 2 hour dinner and hopefully see a show at night for entertainment, will me and my boyfriend be to tired to hit the casino at night? I wanna know anyone else who has planned most of the cruise days and the pros and cons. And any advice would be appreciated. Happy Cruising. twangster
Each of us cruises differently. Each of us has different energy levels. Each of us is looking for something different from a vacation. If you are an experienced cruiser you likely have an idea what works for you. If you are new to cruising and you are questioning your schedule then follow your gut instinct. I personally like to leave lots of time on vacation to just live in the moment. A full schedule can be found any day at work. Time to just enjoy and not feel like I have to rush off to the next thing, or if a sunset happens and I just want to sit and watch it are the things that make a vacation for me. Vee2525
@twangster i only been on a princess cruise 10 years ago, a rc cruise last year and a rc cruise coming up. Last year my boyfriend and I only had one Shore excursion planned and had a lot of free time to relax and hang out in the casino. This upcoming cruise is like the opposite with a lot planned. From one extreme of no planning to another extreme of over planning? On one hand I wanna do all that is planned on the other I want to make sure there will be time to hang out in the casino! After all like u said its a vacation.
Traveler
First , remember the casino open during sea days from the morning so you can enjoy it during that time. For the evenings , you can choose from time to time to eat something in the buffet will release you around 1.5 hour from your dinner time , you can also tell the waiter in the MDR that you have plans for the evening and if they expedite the meal , I found the MDR to be faster with the new menus were you order everything at once. Vee2525
@Traveler thanks! I love the tip for early casino session on sea days. This definitely confirms my plans and now more excited to go then ever! Only 266 days left. The nights we eat in the MDR I'll be sure for me and my boyfriend to ask for a quick dinner. Good idea.
