  1. I am sailing to Bermuda at the end of September on Anthem of the seas, was wondering what currency does Bermuda use? Will they accept my cash or card? Or should I switch over my money to their currency? If I need to, do I have to do it before getting on the ship? Thanks
  2. Is anyone going to be on this cruise? Im super excited. This will be our 9th cruise on RCL, 2nd time on the Anthem and 1st time to Bermuda which leaves May 4,2019. Did anyone win their bids for the Royal Up?
  3. We are going on the Anthem on May 4th. We received our royal upgrade offer to bid. Has anyone bid on an upgraded room? How much did you bid on the junior suite and was your bid accepted? Did you bid on any other rooms and if so, how much did you bid?
  4. We are cruising on Grandeur to Bermuda in late April. We will arrive Saturday around 1:00 and depart Sunday at 2:30. My husband is training for a marathon and is wondering if there is a convenient and safe place to do a long run while there. It would have to be Saturday after 5pm or early Sunday morning before our tour. Thanks for any input!
  5. Just saw a Tweet from James Van Fleet ..... The September 8th sailing (tomorrow) is now going to Nassau instead of Bermuda for the 5-nighter.
  6. Never were truer words spoken than what I typed in the title ...... My wife, Tyna, and I did the exact same cruise last week, that we did last year --- A 5-nighter to Bermuda, in September, on Grandeur OTS out of Baltimore. Expecting the same experience as last year was our first mistake -- even though the ship, cabin, itinerary were identical, the cruise experience was completely different, yet, so much fun..... First off, I must give a "Shout Out" to the Cruise Maryland staff ...... We pulled in the parking lot at about 9:45 and were on the ship by 10:45 ..... had our first Bl
  7. My boyfriend and I are going on our very first cruise on Anthem of the Seas, leaving August 17th of this year. We are looking to snorkel, horseback ride, and fish on our 10 day adventure. Since we are new to this, we are also a little wary of booking tours not through the cruise ship, although we like the fact that they seem to be cheaper. We were also wondering what island would be best to do each of the excursions? Any info, personal experiences, or names of trustworthy and reputable third party companies would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks! :)
  8. Hi All I have just been on my first Royal Caribbean cruise and loved it. I had an amazing deal around the Med which included a free deluxe drinks package, free wifi, all gratuities and a BOGO deal, booked 9 months before cruise date! Was a steal! I am now looking at my next cruise to Bermuda and Bahamas on the Grandure of the Seas in May 2018. However, when i phoned for a quote there were no inclusions just the standard 20% off deal which seams to be on most of the time anyway. So to seasoned Royal Caribbean customers my question is how much sway do the agents have? If i push
  9. We were just informed (with no explanation) that the Vision of the Seas repositioning cruise from Cape Liberty to Galveston, departing Oct 23, 2017 will no longer stop in Labadee. We will visit Bermuda instead. Seems like a win, although it would have been nice to see Labadee since we have never been there before. Any thoughts on why this change would have been made or if it's a good thing? Here's our new itinerary: Cape Liberty Cruising King's Wharf Bermuda Cruising Cruising Bonaire Curacao Aruba Cruising Grand Cayman C
  10. Just returned from a 5 night Bermuda cruise on Grandeur. This was a "free" cruise for us courtesy of Club Royale so we only paid taxes, port fees and gratuities. While certainly not free, the price was greatly reduced. Grandeur has the Coca Cola Dispenser machines (sorry....can't remember what they are called. We never use them) I noticed the 10 drink punch card on day 3. It was $79 + 18% grat. It may have been offered earlier. I didn't see it in the Compass until day 3. Confirmed that Diamond Plus receive 30% discount on premium drink package onboard. It was noted on
  11. Would anybody out there have photos of their Cruise Compass from the Grandeur of the Seas 9 night out of Baltimore to Bermuda?? I'm looking for info of themed nights aboard the ship. Please help! Thanks
  12. Hi, Several months ago I read the Royal Caribbean was coming back to Boston to offer a 7-Day Bermuda Cruise in the Summer of 2015! I got excited as I am a loyal RCL cruise and got a bunch of friends and family interested in going (like over 30 people). Since then I have not seen any cruise set up for this on the RCL Site? I've seen plenty of 2015/2016 cruises already and Boston Cruises to Canda or the Caribbean, but what about Bermuda? Can you tell me if this is going to happen? I hope so, like I said there is a huge interest here in Boston for it. Thanks in advance....
