Just noticed I can no longer browse other ships in the app, I can only see my cruises and have to option to add a missing cruise. I'm using Android. It was useful to be able to see other sailing so I could look at the daily activities. I can't browse on the Celebrity app either, is it just me or another Android v IOS difference?

Has anyone else had a chance to check out the latest update to the RCL app on the iPhone, version 1.47.0. I'm loving the new features. Here is a screenshot of the update notes and the new Crown and Anchor status tracker...just one point away from Platinum , will be earned on a 14-day TA on Oasis next April.

Travelling on Oasis in August 2023. Pre-Covid on Anthem we used to get WOW Bands that were able to unlock all the staterooms in our party, or at least all the adults got bands that would unlock their own room + their kids rooms. For some reason SeaPass cards couldn't do this... it had to be a WOW band. But WOW bands are a thing of the past. On Oasis last summer the only solution they had for us was a bunch of duplicate cards. Is there anything better this summer? Can the app get you into multiple staterooms? Does the app even open doors on Oasis? Can kids younger than 13 even have the app? It would be great if we didn't need 6 different people to have 3 different cards each to get into 3 different staterooms!

Travelling end Nov on symphony with my husband and sister with her wife. When making dinner reservations in the app once on board, is it possible to make for 2 linked cabins? Or will it only make for individual room reservations ? I know you can go to a specialty restaurant or dining desk to book. But hoping to do it quickly in the app once onboard.

I recently watched a YouTube video by Island Time on how to get in the first boarding group on Carnival. The magical unicorn group 1A. SPOILER: Stay up till midnight and check in as soon as the clock rolls over. Does this work with Royal Caribbean? Is there a parallel trick? What council can you give me for best results.

As of this morning, Explorer is up in the Royal app!

The RC app lists the daily MDR menus. Are these known to actually be the menu for those days on your cruise even if 2 months out? Or just a guideline?

Well after my second cancellation I booked again for next summer! 3rd time lucky? So I’m back to 327 days and counting. I have never booked this far out before. Can anyone tell me when the Royal App starts to let you explore your sailing? Or has COVID 19 disrupted this as well? Back to waiting for my 90 day check-in, stalking the blog, and watching cruise planner every day. TIA

Hi all, Does anyone know why Royal are changing the deck plans for every single one of their ships on the ship's first sailing after May 1st? If you are unsure what I am referring to, check the link here, https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/deck-plans and you can see that when you go into all of them, they all say that their current deck plans are only valid until May? If I had to make a wild guess, I might wonder if it's the date where all ships will be on the Royal Caribbean Smartphone App, in which case they may switch to the more detailed deck plans found on said applications. Any other ideas?

Traveling on the Harmony. Does the app provide push notifications now? If so, were you using Royal IQ or the new Royal Caribbean International app? Did you have to pay? How reliable was it?

We are cruising on the Harmony on August 4th. Myself, husband and 12 & 13 year old. I have several questions I'm having a hard time finding answers to.... please help if you can ? 1. Communication? We can't afford the VOOM package for all four of us but we have to communicate with the kids. Most are saying the texting doesn't work well on the new app. We have android so can't try the "free" iphone hack. If the app doesn't give you a notification of a message how is that even helpful? Isn't the best part of cruising NOT checking your phone every five minutes ? 2. Photo Package? We've had good and bad experiences with ship photographers. I don't want to buy the package for digital prints before we go in case we don' t have many good ones. However, the price is totally worth it compared to hiring a photographer here at home. Can we purchase at the end of the cruise and if so, is it less expensive? 3. "Teen" activities? I'm hearing many people mention the teen activities end up being all together and not separated between 12-14 and 15-17. My newly 12 year old is not ready for, nor has any interest in hanging out around 17 year olds. Anyone have experience with that? This is our first trip without the kids in the "Kids" club. 4. App schedule? Your experience with the app... So far our dinner and show reservations are accurate on the app. Many have mentioned the on board activities in the cruise compass do not align with the app. What was your experience? And, once on board and we "add them to our calendar" will they show up on our personal calendar similar to our dining reservation? 5. Clothes? Any tips on getting very active teens to dress nicely? They only wear t-shirts and athletic shorts without argument. I can get my son to wear "golf" shirts but still with athletic shorts ? 6. Themes? Are there theme nights we really need to prepare for? Any other tips greatly appreciated. We aren't new to this but new to teens and a giant boat!!!

New to RC and to this blog. We will be cruising on Ovation of the Seas in June. I am looking for the Royal Carribean International app but can't find it. There are several apps specific to different ships and areas (Portfolio Caribbean for Caribbean RC cruises) but I can't find a general RC app. suggestions?

So I am cruising on Oasis this coming weekend and I thought that I read somewhere that you could order drinks through the app onboard. Is there any truth to that?
