  1. Exactly how it worked in getting my attention. Was the first time I noticed this post.
  2. All that can be gotten up in the Suite Lounge. Just keep in mind without paying it will only be available in the Suite Lounge. So the question is do you want to head up to the Lounge whenever you have the desire for something.
  3. Don't know why I want to say shuffle board is setup in one of the jut outs along the track. Might be thinking of Symphony.
  4. I'm sure if Radiance was to visit GB it would replace the Hubbard Glacier visit.
  5. Contact was awarded to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Keep in mind Royal Caribbean International is a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Celebrity along with Azamara are also subsidiaries of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Furthermore, I recall awhile back some huge fault that a Royal Caribbean International ship did that essentially got them kicked out of Glacier Bay.
  6. Something else I've started to notice as well. Been seeing a swing on some ships from using a soda gun to using 2 liter bottles. On the Mariner GC more often than not Sprite, Coke, and Diet Coke were out of 2 liter bottles. Tonic and soda water were from 12 oz cans.
  7. I'm about 90% sure this is it: http://www.sunbeamhospitality.com/hospitality/coffeemakers/mr.-coffee-single-serve-coffeemaker-black/CM2003-005.html
  8. Coffee maker is a single serving Mr. Coffee brand. Uses a filter style pad (think a round disk that is a filter pouch). Isn't anything fancy that uses K-Cups, Nespresso pods, or Lilly pods.
  9. Agree, just keep the original booking in play also. Another advantage of a TA is they should fight for you in getting any benefits from the cancellation applied to your backup cruise.
  10. If you look at trying to book you'll see only one type of interior, oceanview, neighborhood balcony, and oceanview balcony listed. That is a very ominous sign. From a major cruise booking site:
  11. Letter from the CC post @AshleyDillo mentioned sums everything thing up when it comes to a ship getting chartered. Big wildcard is always going to be what the price protected sailings will be. One thing to keep in mind is it took almost a month from when the rumors started swirling until the official announcement was made. In the mean time bookings were still open for a short period. One way to tell of a possible charter is only one category in each of the core categories will show.
  12. The Deluxe beverage package with Voom is the Surf and Stream version. Even if you're not streaming web browsing will be a more responsive with the Surf and Stream package. Welcome to the group on both accounts: message board and for the group cruise
  13. First off reservations... for breakfast!?!?! Going to say that is a first. If you didn't already, should have played the Star class card and seen if magicly your name appeared on the reservation list. Next time you want to attempt breakfast in the dining room I'd suggest giving your Genie a call. Still, revervations... for breakfast... --Removed some comments from my initial post--
  14. Closest thing to a video of Oasis Lagoon... Walk from the ship there plus a quick walk around.
  15. Yes, Royal does hold purchases until the last night. If purchased late on the last day you'll be able to take it then. If the bottle included the "ship tax"/priced much higher than it can be bought for. Then that would be a NCL policy allowing purchases for onboard consumption. Unfortunately Royal, outside of the few 375ml bottle options purchased in advance, doesn't allow bottles to be purchased for onboard consumption.
  16. This was posted by someone currently on the Royal Caribbean Blog Mariner Group Cruise.
  17. This was posted by someone currently on the Royal Caribbean Blog Mariner Group Cruise. Might help give an idea of proximity.
  18. Sure is, keep in mind souvenir cups and ones made with pineapples will be extra.
  19. You would be charged the $2 overage plus the gratuity on the overage.
  20. Alina did keep our schedule silent until onboard and trust me I pushed hard to get it. It wasn't until the night before that I got even an idea. We weren't really big snack people so nothing was delivered during the afternoon. At night it was mostly spur of the moment thoughts that she was able to work out. Nothing that wouldn't be already onboard. Wine front, one bottle was from her. The other two were from Crown and Anchor. Now Alina overall: First off she offered a more unique way of contact on board, had to say it worked great. Also thought her communication pre-cruise was adequate. Still I'd push hard to get an idea of plans. Also speak up and mention any particular snack requests if it isn't something easy to obtain on a ship. I'd also suggest to read @Lovetocruise2002 blog from Harmony: If anything isn't clear or other questions just ask.
  21. Shareholder Benefit $250 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 14 or more nights. $200 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 10 to 13 nights. $100 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 6 to 9 nights. $ 50 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 5 nights or less.
  22. Will confirm, at least on Mariner, it is $13 getting covered. This was verified with one of the bartenders at the Pub. Same deal as @twangster in the Bamboo Room. The $14 drinks rang up as $1.18. Another FYI sales tax was charged on overages the first day while still in Miami. Another credit to the Bamboo Room folks, they were informing drink package holders about the overage on those drinks.
