Do they have shampoo and body wash in the balcony rooms on the Grandeur of the seas ,and if not, are we limited to the ounces allowed to bring on ship?
If your dispenser in the shower is empty when you board, or at any point, just go to the guest services desk and let them know, they'll send someone to fill it.

No athletic wear. No pool/beach wear. No flip flops. No shorts. That's what the Windjammer buffet is for. Nice pants, a collared shirt, and close toed shoes (for men) in the MDR. I wear Dickies brand pants and a collared shirt typically, they look very close to dress pants/khakis, and are more comfortable in my opinion.

I have to ask...way off topic...but what is the official "Star Wars club"?
lol. There is (or was, I haven't actually checked in a while) a magazine, Star Wars Insider, and IIRC if you subscribed to it then you were automatically signed up for the Official Star Wars Club. I just saw you mention Star Wars in another post about your husband, so it might be something for you to look into for him. I loved it, and people thought I was uber nerdy when I showed them my member card, can't blame them if the shoe fits.

Jeez...looks like I hafta now put "MUST HAVE DIAMOND OR HIGHER STATUS" on my dating profile.
@twangster has "must be Pinnacle in C&A" on his dating profile IIRC, so you wouldn't be the only one with high standards ?

Good to see the shower has a proper sliding door instead of a Hollywood Special grabby curtain!
I agree. I hated those curtains. Had them twice, the whole bathroom was a pool.

I've been sailing with RCCL since 2005 and I have never even heard of C&A cards much less ever seen one. Learn something new every day !
@KathyC's cards were from 2003, sounds like RC stopped shortly after since you started in 2005. I was really looking forward to being a card carrying member of something again (I was in the official Star Wars club for a couple years ?).

This is all very confusing ?
So from what I've gathered, from these answers and whatnot, the kids either retain the parent's status, or drop down a level. Either way it works out great for the kids. Thanks RC!

Grand Suite? I'm too lazy to check her deck plans ?

For the future your little guys is old enough now. Both my kids had passports at 5 months and 6 months old. Its kind of funny. YOu have to hold them up in front of the blue screen for their picture.
lol, seriously?! Wow. Maybe we'll go ahead and do it when we get back. Thanks!

I had to go look, here are our cards! One picture is NCL on the top (I thought we had Carnival but apparently they are NCL.) Our kids have never been on NCL. On the bottom is Disney. Not sure why my husband's card & mine are different.
The RCCL cards are for all four of us. We must've received our cards from an earlier sailing, as they are yellowed, compared to the boy's cards. You can kindof see that in the picture.
When we signed up in 2014 I heard or read somewhere about a welcome packet/card that we'd get in the mail or something...never came. Asked about it on here in late 2016, no one knew about a card or anything. Thanks for the pic, and proof I wasn't hearing things! lol.

So we did our online check-in today, and it asks what sort of i.d. each person will be using to check in, so we put birth certificate for the little guy. Thanks for the replies! I was guessing that's all we needed but figured I'd ask here (not sure I'd get a solid answer if I called RC). Also, we'll definitely look into getting him a passport as soon as he's old enough.

They don't do cards anymore from what I've heard.

I don't know the details, but I have heard their status drops once they're 18. I think @DocLC might know more about it.

I'm on her for the group cruise, so my guess is that she'll be going into drydock just after that; that's usually my luck as I ended up on the last sailing of the Liberty before her drydock. ;)
Won't this be your first RCBlog group cruise? Glad to see you're finally able to make one!

I haven't actually played, or sailed on Oasis...but, we looked into it on another ship, and if I recall correctly the cheapest came out to like $30 per person, and it went up from there. I know others on here have actually played, hopefully they'll chime in for you.

My wife and I have our passports, what will we need to get our 1yr old on board? (Aside from whatever we print from Royal). We only have a week left, I probably should've asked sooner ?
-
Ok, so it appears I haven't missed the opportunity to vote on your first drink on board...I vote the patron (or Don Julio) with pineapple juice.
Also, your lodgings in the city look amazing. That first pic with the beach in the background is inviting...maybe I'll go to the beach today.

I second this! If you don’t mind spending a couple extra dollars for the upgrade, have them make it with a reposado tequila.
I concur 100%, reposado is the way to go, not as much bite as blanco, with a hint of the anejo flavor.

What's the best way to hang a RCBlog member sign on our cabin door? I made a quick one on Microsoft word and will be laminating it.
