  1. On our way to Merritt Island yesterday I saw Oasis as we were at the top of the bridge...thought of you, with a little envy. How's the weather? Thinking of heading out on Oasis next Nov.
  2. Thanks! My starting guess was $2, so the $4 range makes it even more worth it for the pkg. Having grown up with 10 acres of orange and grapefruit trees, the non-fresh is a last resort.
  3. The 24hr cancel rule has been changed to 48hrs if I remember correctly. I agree though, book before boarding.
  4. REALLY hoping they put new shower doors in the bathrooms...get rid of those curtains!
  5. Rock climbing. My goal, starting on our 3rd cruise, is to climb every day, but so far I've only made it 6 out of 7 days on our Freedom OTS cruise. The weather didn't permit every day on our Serenade trip.
  6. Yeah, we've never wanted to pay separate for it, but I'd totally have some with breakfast since it's included in the pkg(s). The issue now is I know my wife won't be able to drink enough of anything to get the full pkg, so I'll need to look at the others and maybe make "the call" to RC, to ask if they'll allow her a lower pkg.
  7. Does anyone know how much the fresh squeezed orange juice is in the WJ? Trying to math up my drinks to know if the drink pkg is worth it next time around. Thanks!
  8. My friends and I said it slightly different, "pics or shens". Proof, or we call shenanigans!
  9. We cruised Enchantment in 2015, from Cape Canaveral, with some friends. We were Gold, took maybe 15min to board in the Gold line. Took our friends 45min in the "nobodies" line. We didn't try to get them in line with us, didn't think of it really.
  10. You can bring walkie talkies, but I've read on other threads that they don't always keep reception on board, and other passengers complain about the "noise" from them. I hope someone with experience in this area will chime in for you.
  11. I've found, for myself at least, Patron goes with anything ?
  12. Been waiting for this post from you! Now I'll go read it.
  13. Not even my cruise and I'm excited! I'd take it in a second.
  14. They used to be different menus, now all the same. Two are for MTD, two for traditional. You'll be assigned 1 for the duration of your cruise if you have traditional. If you show up at the exact same time every night for MTD then you'll likely end up in the same one/table each night. If you show up at random times each night for MTD you may be placed in either of the 2. Formal night will apply to all 4. As @Floski said, if you have any issues you can talk to the staff and they'll do what they can to help you. We were assigned a "prime table" in MTD by a window...Long story short we asked to be moved the following night, and we were. I say all that, but I've never been on Ovation. But, from what I heard it should be correct. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  15. My wife and I have been slowly working on this all summer. You'll notice some of the places are cruise inspired. Finally completed and added to our yard last weekend. We haven't been on a cruise in a year, so this will help remind us of the good times we've had, until we can travel again. P.S. pictures were taken quickly on my phone
  16. lol, I wish I was a coder so I could join this "RC website redevelopment team". To the OP, what these posters have said makes sense to me as a nobody. We've always had a cash or card account, can't help ?
  17. My wife hates smoke, and has never had an issue on board. We don't gamble so that helps, and the smoking area on the pool deck is well ventilated, so no issue there either, unless you're walking or sitting pretty close by.
  18. I walked into Senor Frog's to appease some friends who wanted to visit, and I was out 2min later. What a mad house.
  19. Just went to a beach in Cape Canaveral last weekend (our 8 month old's first beach trip) and it was fine, no damage. Jetty Park (has a $5 fee to get in I think), and Cherie Down Park are the closest to the port. Both have bathrooms and showers. Having grown up on the Space Coast, space is in my blood, and would recommend Kennedy Space Center to anyone. Last time we went was to see Atlantis in her new home. Sooo cool to be face to face with one of the space shuttles I've seen take off so many times over the years. I just stood there for a while and looked at her. Rumor has it she's hanging at a 32.1 angle.
  20. You'll be fine in the Lee's and polo. Royal doesn't enforce the "formal" attire, but many people stick to it out of tradition. The dress codes are for the main dining room (MDR), and specialty restaurants, the Windjammer buffet has no dress codes (well, you have to have shoes, shirt, and shorts. We walked in, dry, from the pool deck, and I didn't even think about the fact that I had no shirt on...I was quickly asked to leave, or wrap a towel around my torso).
  21. We did it first thing...9ish? I don't remember. But I'd do it that way again, as others have said, it frees up the rest of your day.
  22. Not all of the ships have the freestyle machines.
