Great information - one question - do you see a lot of people that smoke on the ship when its in Asia? I keep wandering if they relax the ship rules when its over in Europe/Asia - curious?

we head down to a place known as fish-fry alley to some - its a cab ride away like 3-4 miles and they have some restaurants that have great conch and food - we love it and lots of people locals eat here as well so it fun. just an idea

I do not lock my luggage either - carry valuables with me - but also I buy travel insurance and that would cover anything lost in my luggage or taken which has never happened anyway I take pictures of my bag if anything is inside that I can consider valuable

I do wish they would use LA and San Diego more as home ports, Princess is using is successfully but I think one ship almost is enough

I think it is interesting that they are doing it - but most likely that is why the sailings they have coming out from Nov - March 2015 have been so random and all over the place, they are trying to get more people to see the ship in various sailings - glad I am booked on it in November - the Asian market though will be good for this ship and they must want a bigger ship for Asia/Pacific areas. At least the Anthem is now going to be out of NYC in 2015-16.

Wow - great report - and Oasis size certainly is not for everyone - Liberty is my favorite followed by Mariner believe it or not so I get that. bummer on all the Southwest nightmares but airports in general are the worst of any travel experience.

Very Cool - even though I've seen the concept drawings and mock ups its always so amazing to step onto the ship and see it all put together and since this one will be very different than the other big ships its exciting.

I agree - the same 3/4 day cruises can get old but believe it or not its what draws in many first time cruisers so I see why they keep them going. in this shorter market though is where ships really are a big deal to me - so glad they have the Enchantment now out of Ft Lauderdale and are making some moves in this market. Heck wouldn't it be fun just to sail from Galveston - to New Orleans (overnight) - Pensacola - Key West - then Tampa I think you could get some people just doing a US cruise...

Yep and why I like the idea of Hawaii - I would rather it not be part of a trans-Pacific sailing but that is just me - Maybe starting in Hawaii and sailing around Tahiti! not that would be great.

I would love to see more over nights - or at least stay in some ports like Azamara does until like 1-2am that way you can go out and actually see a city and have dinner out in town maybe or see a play and then get back onboard to sail over night- I know this cannot always happen but I'd rather stretch out a 7 day cruise to 9 days in order to accommodate things like this.

Hi - Just curious where you would really like to see RCI sail to next or again? I know Iceland is becoming a new hot spot and I wish someone else would sail around Hawaii (although I know ships have lots of restrictions for that) but where else would you like to see them sail to?

Let me dig through my pics but on the Poster (which I'm not sure if they still let people do) we would just say like "Hi - what's Up" or things like that so it would catch people's attention - I've seen birthday decorations etc also

I actually always book this room on the freedom class ships - I love looking down at the people and really like the locations we have always gotten AND the key is too just draw the curtains when you are inside and want privacy, otherwise I am right in the window looking out We have also taken Poster board and made sign and stuck it in the window for others to read and to help with privacy

love the freedom - still one of my favorite cruises we were on with the Hogs on the High Seas cruise, so about 2000 Harley enthusiasts so the people watching was a blast but just loved the ship
