Didn't know about reserving tickets with the cruise planner.....thanks for the tip!

Was reading Matt's write up about Columbus the Musical and it sounds fantastic. My question is do you really need to go get tickets for the show on day 1 and if so where do I find them? Will I not get in if not? I have seen Saturday Night Fever on Liberty of the Seas a few times and we just walk into the theater an 1/2 hour early and get a good seat. No tickets needed. I have a feeling these big ships with more cruisers on board may have a different set of rules.

I really wonder when Liberty of the Seas will be permitted to sail out of Galveston. My family is due to take a cruise on her in mid Oct. but I'd be worried for those who have any Sept. sail dates. This could take a long while to get back to any semblance of normal after looking at the footage from that area.

I use the napkin that I pick up when grabbing my plate and use that to grab all the utensils. Works for me and I agree with others that too many people are too lazy to wash. Not most of the folks on this board though!

It would have saved me a few bucks according to my travel agent but I would lose some of my perks. A net negative so took a pass....

You would think running a promo like this would really cut the price of my 7 night cruise for the four of us coming up in Oct. Had my TA check and it didn't bring the price down more than just a few bucks but I would lose some on board credits so a net negative. I've never had one of these seemingly attractive promo's work to my advantage....I get the feeling they are thrown out there to stir up demand but deliver little change.

Enjoyed reading your blog as well. Traveling through the Middle East would certainly be an eye opening experience for my family as we always cruise the Caribbean. Vision of the Seas comes to Galveston Texas in 2018 so will be seeing how she is at that time. Again, good to read your posts about your journey!

Pretty cool list you have here.....we had Ricky Mathews on our last cruise. He was great. Looks like I'm going to have Jeff Arpin on my next cruise on Liberty. I'll have to see if he looks familiar as I don't recall him on past cruises.
