  1. Rent a car . There are drop off locations near the port. We do a 24 hour rental from West Coast (FL) to East Coast for $59 to $99. Works for us when we do a transatlantic
  2. Can you be more specific? I found a Marriott on Citrus Park Dr near Olive Garden that’s 12 miles from the port
  3. Looking for a hotel to stay the night before our cruise that will allow us to leave our car for our 7 night cruise. Thanks
  4. Not shocked Xaa, I’m a motorcycle enthusiast. I don’t find it an inviting place where solders are patrolling the beach with AR-15s
  5. Hope it works out well for them. I love a cruise that stops at a Mexican port. The ship clears out and I can enjoy the amenities of the ship. I will NEVER step foot on Mexican soil and feel safe.
  6. Some days 2 people show up, other days 8 people attend. Glad they offer it.
  7. Did you try signing in on the RCL website?
  8. Thanks, didn’t see that the print is so light. Check in date the same here.
  9. Searched the boards but couldn’t find an answer. How many days prior to sailing can you check in? Want to get an early boarding time. Thanks
  10. Double Ditto. Great way to tour, especially for the driver. Relax, chill, and count the moose and bears, along with the beautiful landscapes. Love The Alaska Railroad!
  11. Here it is https://www.rclinvestor.com/contact-us/faqs/shareholder-benefit/
  12. When comparing prices, include Costco travel. Sometimes they come out the best. Also, book early, reprice often.
  13. Always book car rental with Costco. Never an issue. Book early as possible and check it periodically prior to the rental date. Price goes down I cancel and rebook no charge. Saved hundreds of dollars that way.
  14. Thanks, the blog post from Cakemeister was helpful
  15. Does a diamond status RCL member get a price advantage on a Celebrity cruise? Any special perks like 4 drinks a day, and how do you go about booking it? Thanks
  16. Good for going ashore when your wife gets lost shopping
  17. You can fly to Seattle and take The Amtrak Cascades train to Vancouver. It may give you more flight options and it’s one of the most picturesque rides in the world. Fare is reasonable.
  18. Love the TA crossings. We do one annually. The southern route from Florida to, say, Barcelona, have always been smooth sailing. The northern route from NY, NE, to Northern Europe tend to be rougher.
  19. The port area is safe and gated. There are armed guards everywhere so I wouldn’t worry if you stay in the protected areas.
  20. I always prepay the gratuities since I book far out on the calendar and avoid price increases which are likely to come. Personally I enjoy the early dining option set time because I enjoy the early shows and activities. To each his own.
  21. I’ve got 6 upcoming RCL cruises. At todays prices I couldn’t afford them. Might have to look at NCL who’s prices are lower and include add on packages.
  22. With the amount of money the cruise ships bring they should pay them to dock there
