Big ship, more activities offered. Always prefer the bigger ships on a crossing.

Every night is a show. Depending on the ship. Broadway type, magician, comedian, song and dance. Always some going on.

Pointers…..Relax! I’ve taken 5 crossings with 2 coming up and love them. Activities in the morning. Walking, pickleball, miniature golf. Lunch in The Windjammer, afternoon reading and a nap. Cocktail, dinner, maybe some casino play, they a show. Wash, rinse, repeat. Great way to decompress.

To can hardly wait….Please keep your attitude to yourself. They came here for help and you are not showing the respect and help this board gives. Telling someone to “I strongly suggest you move on to other cruise lines or suck it up” has no place here. -

I’m with you Someone_else… RCL needs to make this right. It takes a ton of advertising dollars to offset negative experiences and reviews. -
Yes, and I love having less crowds to enjoy the ship’s amenities

What to do with Drink Vouhers-Diamond, D+ and Pinnacle
Biaggio replied to Pattycruise's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Good to know. We are not big drinkers and they often go unused. -
Too bad. With travel cost connected to Iceland, that would have been a great way to see that country.

Looks like all that’s available and listed are cruises in 2024. Any idea when 2025 and beyond will be released? Thanks

Exciting. I’ve taken 5 transatlantic crossings both to and from Barcelona. I highly recommend The Andante Hotel. It’s a short walk, even with luggage to the pier, then the pier bus to the ship. Beautiful hotel and pay for the buffet breakfast. Located in a nice, safe neighborhood. If you want the touristy stuff, LaRambas is a couple of blocks away. Enjoy, I’ll be there next month on a crossing from Florida. Check the hotel out on TripAdvisor.

Hampton inn Jersey City. Across the street from an outlet mall and restaurants. Free shuttle from airport. Uber to port.

Can we refill our own water bottles?
Biaggio replied to happy cruisers 2's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Get a glass of water in the windjammer, take it to your table, and fill your bottle. -
28 days on the Ship, What's Needed

Made sure if you take meds, you have enough for the trip plus extra for delays. -
Sorry not enough pickleball. Great activity most people can do. The game is getting very popular and the wait times can be long. More pickleball allows me a second trip to the deserts.

I find they use too much salt, especially in the French onion soup.

They are doing you a favor by skipping Haiti. Whatever port they substitute will be better. Been there seen that.

Money making opportunity for the photographer. Wear what you want (within reason) , what’s comfortable. You are on vacation.

Best day to go to Specialty Dining Restaurant?
Biaggio replied to CableKC's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Check the MDR menus when it’s posted. Don’t like what you see, book Chops, etc -
Always bring a 6’ extension cord, never an issue.

Birthday celebration for my wife
Biaggio replied to Scott Wooten's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
On our last cruise it was over my wife’s birthday. On board I made reservations at Chops and told them it was her birthday. After dinner they came out with a beautiful, complimentary, happy birthday desert, and the staff all sang happy birthday to her. -
