Hi, I’m on this voyage too being the second leg of a B2B, will be staying in Honolulu for three days before returning to Australia.
I get five free drinks per day (Diamond Plus) loaded on my sea pass which is sufficient for me.
    Pete.

Just got off Anthem, and I saw little cards that were left on unattended (towels only, no belongings) lounges in the Solarium with the time the attendant first noticed it. These particular ones were labeled 730 am, I think.  They removed the towels around 930 am, which was about the point when there weren't really any more empty loungers.  Didn't spend a lot of time by the pools, as it was a little cool so I did other things, but it worked that one day

Since you went there, here's my take. For most people, based on message board postings, they're better off financially paying as they go instead of purchasing a package due to drink fatigue and opportunities for use. It seems most frequently people break even on a drink package (that includes the Refreshment package) versus paying out of pocket. The DBP at current pricing makes the most sense for people who really enjoy premium cocktails and cruisers who don't want to think about the cost of what they're ordering while on vacation. While it might seem silly to overpay to not think about drink costs, there is a certain value to just going and having a good time without worrying about the bill at the end (not something I'd personally do, but I can understand where people are coming from who do).

Man, drives me nuts when I see people say the deluxe is not worth it because they can't drink that much alcohol....
PSA,its not just alcohol!!! when you factor in the price per day that means ALL drinks (coffee, juices, smoothies, soda, and yes booze) all of that adds up quick!
Rant over, and yes, I understand the deluxe is not for everyone (non drinkers, voucher people, etc)
Thanks for joining my ted talk

Entitled is thinking that you can claim a chair as yours for the entire day by dropping junk on the chair and no one else should she allowed to use “your” chair regardless if you are actually using it or not

We cruised twice last year on Royal after not cruising for many many years. We recently booked a cruise out of New Orleans for May of next year. Unfortunately Royal is limited on New Orleans departure and not offering when we can go. We booked on another cruise line. I went to an unnamed message board to ask a question and received nothing other than rude or smart ass comments. I miss this message board where I have always received polite, informative responses to my questions. I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate how helpful everyone here has been to me, even when I asked stupid questions.

Thank you all for your help. We have 2 days in Brisbane prior to sailing, feeling excited now.

We check in at a normal time in the morning rather than at midnight.  We find we can get an appointment from 11 AM on.  But it does depend on the time zone difference.  We enjoyed Brisbane, so I would encourage you to fly in early and see some of the sights.

This is us, too.  I have never had a time any later than 11:00 by waiting until 8 or 9 AM to check in.  No need to stay up until midnight to check in.

    Hi Carole,
A lot of people will check in as soon as check in opens (12AM in the time zone of departure) and choose a port arrival time in the app.  Then come back and complete the rest of check in at a later time.  The app makes choosing just the arrival time very easy.  I'm not sure how important arrival time is in Brisbane.
