I had mine booked for $1699 for a July 2022 cruise. On my December 2022 cruise it is $3999

You cannot link a cabana rental until you arrive at CocoCay. Even then you will only be given a wristband to identify which guests will be able to occupy the cabana and enter the water park. They will have to be present with you at check-in or you will have to at least be present when they arrive. If you are at the top of the slide, they will have to wait for you. Also cabanas are assigned based on when you book. If there are two ships on that day, then you can see how this would be impossible. If yours is the only ship, you can always ask, but don’t expect results. 

It won’t be accepted or not until up until about 2pm on the day of your embarkation. You may be notified a day before, but don’t count on it

Cruise ship sushi for the masses is never going to be authentic. They have to cater to the California Roll crowd.

Yeah, I was referring to Mariner which I know for fact has this feature with some suites. I’m in agreement with you that it’s probably not on Quantum or Oasis class from what I have seen.

Your best bet might be to look at private excision options. I’ll be in Nassau a week after you on New Years and I have tons of options for booking. I have to imagine Christmas is going to be slim pickings at best

Yes you can, but that will take some research and luck on your part. I know some suites have connecting balcony rooms next to them, but the key is to have both available at the time of booking

It’s a lot of walking, but nothing like hiking up a mountain. You will be walking quite a few miles and will want to bring your own water. 

They will have a blast!!

No cruise will be when it’s that cold. The last cruises for the year stop in September. The best times to go are in May or September due to less crowds, but some excursions may not be going at the very beginning or end of the tourist season. In all honesty, it’s going to be hard to not have a good time. Don’t overthink it and book when it works best for you.

It varies widely. Some can be released over a year in advance and some open up less than 2 weeks before you sail. I sail in 7 days and just saw excursions added within the last few days. 

Those good ole days are long gone unfortunately! LOL

I’m on that cruise and verified with RC that the BB cabanas are indeed available for open booking at this point. They removed ALL language stating that these were for only suite guests on purpose. However, renting one of these is still the only way for non-suite guests to access BB. RC gave suite guests first crack at the cabanas and then released to everyone else about a week or so later. 

I have only done Dunns River Falls and it was amazing! Absolutely one of the major highlights of my Jamaica trip. My biggest advice would be to bring good water shoes. Those rocks are slippery!! You will have a blast.

As mentioned in the next post, the waterproof cell case is a must. One tip, put your phone in upside down and backwards. That way it will be in the perfect position when you flip it up to take a pic.
