  1. I don't know...the hubby might not go for a no-flowrider cruise! I've been to Vegas once, about 15 years ago, and saw THE Cher at MGM. What a show,I was kind of forced to see it but wow, I was blown away at how she was running around the stage at 65 or so at that time.
  2. Is that a cheese whiz\ketchup mix on those dogs?? That's my street dog style right there...nothing better than a dog from a cart on the street with some cheese whiz type substance and a blob of ketchup (bacon and cheese is my absolute favorite hot dog combo, but this is a VERY close 2nd!!)
  3. I saw this in a blog here a few months back-someone was on a larger ship next to a much smaller one. The bigger one stayed later than expected so the smaller one could get out with some wind blockage until it got off the dock.
  4. It just comes right up on the screen when they punch in your cabin number or swipe your card...
  5. I love em crispy from a grill....but 99% of the time I'm just microwaving the thing! How was the Tuna?? It's because of you and this blog that I search out tuna on the ships now! Princess had a really good one on a croissant, but still love Cafe Promenade Tunas best. Also, I hope the same captain is on Seascape when you go-you'll love him. FIrst of all he's everywhere, he goes to the dance parties, walks around the buffet a lot, does a few meet and greets, and he's known as "Captain bye bye" because he ends all of his announcements with a high pitched " Buh byeee" He is definitely a character.
  6. Also, the ship looks so nice... very modern and clean. And that Shower!!! I'm an early riser while the rest of the fam sleeps in, so I'd just wake up and stand under that thing for 20 minutes every morning to get going!
  7. Isn't it Seascape? I think they are pretty much the same, but Seascape is slightly newer (and the one I just did...and loved).
  8. Nice...I honestly think the Infinite balcony is kind of cool...like a little patio area.
  9. I totally got confused and thought WOW what a nice cabin! Bathroom windows, ice machines..Celebrity is fancy! Then I realized...never mind.
  10. I'm here!! Sometimes I forget things like Pork roll (don't DARE call it Taylor ham around me) and scrapple are more regional. It's delicious, and yeah, I guess its like a thin version of canadian bacon, great on breakfast sandwiches!! Anyway, glad you landed...even if it sounded a bit rough..
  11. She has enough Pineapple people trying this all week, we don't need the airlines involved, too!
  12. Liberty does not have laser tag, has an ice rink.
  13. Legend of the seas test loads....??
  14. This must be a freedom class thing, on Liberty the bathrooms were so weird. My wife hated using the public ones- the one closest to the lounge we hung out in the most had a main door that didn't lock, then a 2nd door that led into a stall, also with no lock- so people would walk in assuming there was more than one toilet and constantly open the stall door or pile in and stand around in the bathroom 2-3 deep waiting for the one toilet to free up, It was a really bad design. Also, the mens room door nearby opened up right to the urinals, so no wall or anything- when that door was opened, anyone in the hallway walking by got a straight up view of the guys backs standing at the urinals.
  15. Yeah..I know regular drink packages don't work for them, either.
  16. Another one! We Always ask to come in the evening, my wife and kid are late sleepers and we know we'll be out and about from dinner on, it's nice to come back to the room at the end of the night a made bed, I don't care what it looks like during the day! We just had twice a day service on another line and told her on day two to stop coming in the morning, we had the DND lit up from when we went to bed until after lunch every day.
  17. I do the same thing, I'm usually just kinda embarrassed to take the pics of food. Not really sure why, as I run a huge food review page on Facebook, but I'm always super sly about taking food pics in public. Also- are those pretzel rolls I keep seeing? I don't recall ever seeing those on board! (is it just a CK thing, maybe?)
  18. 3 of our 4 last cruises have been during school...its not as big of a deal now that the kid hit 13, though....adult prices for all of us.
  19. Same, both times we sailed Oasis the water was always really hot and we had to almost turn it allll the way down just to get it warm. But @Ampurp85 I have read a few posts over on Zuckerbook that seem to indicate water issues the past few sailings on Oasis, so hopefully it's not as bad for the rest of your week.
  20. I LOVE the Strawberry kiwi flavored water, I found a watermelon one before, too that was really good! Yes... and somehow even though I love BBQ, I missed going to Portside both times I sailed Oasis. Still a little salty about it, lol. My wife is kind of like @OCSC Mike's wife, she eats like 5 things and I'll eat almost anything (except seafood). So it was hard for me to go and try them since the dishes looked so large and neither my wife or kid would share with me.
  21. I always say this...I swear I run into the same 20 people every day on a cruise. Then I realized it's probably because we all have the same favorite spots or whatever. ENjoy the last day, looking forward to the Oasis leg of the cruise.
  22. I think it has only been alcoholic beverages that are being opened
  23. My brother used to fart in his hand and chase me around to release it in my face. That guy sounds like he also chases people around with fart hands. Someone in the blogs is always bragging about that potato salad at the dog house, I thought it was just ok but potato salad isn't my favorite to begin with. But I will say you all have me craving some damn ribs and I'm regretting the sloppy joes I just started. I do love the theory that volume raises the odds on a slot machine, lol
  24. I'm a no sugar drink guy, too. I LOVE the Starry Zero. And you are right, Mike- store brand cola is gross, but I can usually deal with store\off brand Lemon lime sodas. I will admit, on the ships I drink mostly Sparkling water or Sugar free red bull (I don't do coffee, so a few of these spread throughout the day keep me going) but when I have a mocktail or two, I always regret it since one or two frozen mocktails is probably more sugar than I normally drink in a year.
