We have sailed on several Norwegian Cruise Line Cruises in the past but this will be the firt RCCL. 

It depends on what hotel you're staying at. Some have a shuttle that will go to the port, but the problem with those is you are on their time table. Might be better to get an uber or a taxi.

We'll be staying at the Radisson RED hotel near the airport.

Yep, we've got 10:30 as well! Definitely need it to get here faster, though!

Well, I would say keep in mind that StarLink is used as a widespread consumer product whereas I'm not sure if MedallionNet is used by anyone other than cruise ships.

Satellite internet sucks, period. When you have thousands of people in such a small space potentially trying to access the same uplink, it's going to be slow. The technology just doesn't exist to be better than it is.

No doubt they've blocked the speed test sites to prevent folks from posting proof of the slow speeds.

So, I was just watching a video about First Class breakfast on the Titanic and one of the items was shirred eggs. It's eggs backed in a little dish surrounded by bread crumbs. I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried getting this on a RC ship. I'd never heard of it, but I'd love to try it.

Hm, yeah I'm not sure how that works, I didn't think about folks in other time zones!

So, I imported the recipe into Recipe Keeper and used its conversion capability to reduce it to 1/8 serving size and this is what I got back. Looks reasonable. Unfortunately, I don't know how much a "tub" of mushroom base is, but they do sell small jars of Mushroom base in grocery stores. You could follow the directions on that for a reasonable comparison. You could also potentially half /this/ set of ingredients if this is still too much, but i think this would make a decent-sized pot of soup.

I appreciate your response and I just like most of the people on this blog, Love this soup so much that I have planed vacations on if I can get this soup.

Along these lines, I suspect this may be why some people say the chat function doesn't notify them in a timely manner. Almost every phone is very aggressive in killing apps when not in use so they can say they have longer battery life and the Royal app is not likely classified as a messaging app, so most phones are going to kill it quickly. Folks will likely have to go in and tell their phone to unrestrict the Royal app. Heck, even on my Samsung phone, I had to specifically unrestrict Telegram or I'd get delayed messages and it IS a messaging app.

It's pretty simple. You start  meeting and you can get a link which you can paste for people to join.

A fun idea! Only issue is I likely wouldn't be able to be on super long since I usually just check-in right before going to sleep. Google has a free conference system called Meet, doesn't even have a time limit.

Yep, far as I'm aware. Only other thing I can think of is their reservation number starts with 4 and mine starts with 7, so maybe it goes in number order.

Yeah, formal night is pretty relaxed still. Last cruise, I just wore some khakis and a button-up long sleeve shirt.
