Go to desktop mode in your phone's browser. There you'll see the logout option.
Thanks, I'll give that a try. I honestly though I was already/automatically in "desktop mode" because it isn't an app. I'm old!

More importantly once you force a logout, it’s tricky to log back in.
Friends don’t let friends logout.
I may be old school but I've always been told by IT personnel to always log out for security reasons (I haven't worked since 2012 so things could have changed since then). I always log out of everything I log into. Just a habit.

TBH, the few times we went to the C&A lunches, we decided they weren’t worth the time or effort. I loathe small talk and really have little interest in “getting to know” the staff and officers (with very few exceptions). Since we normally have the UDP, we have to miss a specialty meal to go and the food is generally very “meh”. We hadn’t been in years, even before our 2 year pause due to COVID. I’m glad they have it for those who enjoy it but it’s not our scene.
I don't like being a Duggie Downer, but I just don't see the draw to these things either. Status and/or Celebrity doesn't turn my crank at all. Believe me, I've broke bread with some of this world's most, well it doesn't matter. I find most are, besides the very small realm that they became famous/rich/successful in, very narrow minded and don't have much else to offer in a conversation that I'm interested in. I'd rather sit down and have a long conversation with our local plumber or cashier at the grocery store or the server in Chops Grill.
Those that enjoy these things, I honestly hope you can go to them again. I hold no opinion toward you for wanting it. It's just not for me!

I really really really wish I could use all my humor with this. But, waaaaaaay tooooooo dirty for this forum. But again, this was a real/serious question.

I honestly haven't seen any benefit to the hard shell ones. Just seems like a different style.
Well, my only argument with my wife about this is that there is a lot more give with soft sided. It's kinda like Jello, there's always room for (one) more.

We switched to hard side a few years ago and have been happy. The material is still not as light as soft but that is the trade off I think. My wife has a set Tumi Tegra Lite 2 and she loves them. I have seen a few votes for Away but we chose Monos for me and my daughter. Away and Monos both give you a great “100 day trial period”. We put both to the test. We landed on Monos. We just liked the wheels and the handles better on the Monos. However, they were both great and I can say without a doubt, Away took the “tried” bags back no questions asked and the refund was quick and easy. Their customer service is amazing. We did keep one Away carry-on bag for my daughter for her local dance team travel. It was that great. I’d recommend giving them both a shot. Tumi is Tumi, extremely nice…with the price tag to go with the label, lol but both Away and Monos are worth the test drive.
I honestly would prefer to use my original Army issue duffle bag. Load it up, throw it on my back like a backpack, and I'm on my way. My original was issued to me over 50 years ago and it looks almost like new, just a little faded. Man, I could stuff that thing like a Christmas Turkey.

Pelican cases used as luggage for the win. They cost just about the same as luggage but are built to withstand the abuse of porters, bus drivers, bellhops, and ramp rats.
And, they will be the last time you buy luggage—ever.
Never heard of them. I'll have to research them. Thanks

You call this the question of the decade? Well, ahhhh, yaaaaa. It is to me. Your not married to my wife!
I mean, what about things like "Why does Scotland have a Unicorn as part of its' national symbol?" Why do bypasses go through the city?
"Why is New Zealand's 90 Mile Beach only 55 miles long?" Metrics. That's the best I can do!
"Why do you have to have matching luggage? Can't you each get whatever you want?" See my first response above
Enquiring minds want to know…

We switched to hard side bags from Away Luggage a couple years ago.
We love them, 4 wheel 360 degree design, good locks, and best of all LIFETIME warranty.
We have used the warranty once for a broken interior zipper, and it could not have gone smoother. Called them and described the issue; 2 days later a new bag was on the porch, put the old bag in the shipping box, and Fed Ex came and picked it up.Very good info.

You may be right, it could just be personal preference. Wheels and handles are what matter most to me. I’ve thrown a few wheels over the years, never a good time. Zipper quality is also something I look at. Never had my zipper bust and my unmentionables scattered to the wind on the ramp and I don’t want to start now, lol.
I haven't had the zipper problem, YET! It's just a matter of time.

I hope the new mattress works out. I recall you like the expensive suites when you sail, the expensive bed-something you use almost every night, is likely worth every penny, as much as the suites you enjoy.
Foooooooor suuuuuure

Just noticed that when I'm using my phone to access this forum, which is very seldom, like I am right now, I don't need to log in. So, I'm guessing that I'm never logged out from this device. The issue I'm having is I can't find a way to log out like I do on my laptop/desktop. Any help with this, please. I don't like being permanently logged in or automatically logged in on anything.

But you'd regain that by not having to print cards every cruise (and for as crappy as the new cards are, sometimes multiple card per trip).
I couldn't see them adding any digital room controls though, just door locks.
Yep, our last cruise, I went through 3 cards because the laminate kept peeling off.

The 360 degree wheels are key.
For sure.
Our set of luggage (soft sided) before our current set, one wheel broke off. Our current set (soft sided) has one handle that won't come up, it's stuck inside.

Well, I guess my wife is going to have to wait on getting her hard ............................sided luggage for a while. We decided that we need a new mattress more than luggage. So, I ordered (from Amazon, damnit) a hybrid mattress (inner spring with cooling gel topper). Our current one is fully memory foam. Where we lie looks like the Grand Canyon X2 now and it is less than a year old. I like it but my wife wakes up almost unable to walk for several minutes. So, we'll see how the new one does. The best sleep system we ever had was a Sleep # bed, duel control. But, they have really priced themselves out of my comfort zone. Having said that, if this one isn't comfy for both of us, I'll go ahead and spring (get it) for a new Sleep # as it is getting expensive trying out several different mattresses.
Marian, will just have to wait for Christmas, 2023 to get her hard sided luggage. Well, that's if the supply chain allows it.

We have both, our larger bags are soft but the smaller ones are hard sided (Amazon Basics, surprisingly hearty). DD has the large Amazon suitcase, and it holds quite a bit.
For me the wheels are the thing. I like the 360° wheels are important for getting around. Hard vs soft- well we drive more than we fly these days so I don't know that it matters (though I think the hard sided would float if dropped in the water)
Amazon is where we are looking. I hate giving any money to Bozo Bazos but it is so easy, competitively priced, and easy to return if need be (we are prime).

All this can be solved with microchips implanted in your arm at check in
LOL
But, be realistic, they can't even get the WOW to work properly. And that only goes around your wrist. Imagine actually putting something in your body. They'd probably hire a proctologist to do that.

Some Genies are better at pre-sail comm than others. I can't remember which Genie (I do recall that it was a male), but I have read a number of pre-sail concerns b/c that particular Genie was a poorer pre-sail communicator than previous Genies. When the time came to board, they found this Genie to be exceptional but simply didn't communicate that well up front.
Concur with @MLHthat the Genies have to be very careful about what they put in writing. I had a Genie tell me that when it comes to emails and phone cons, they will never "say" anything that is contrary to official policy Yep, they walk a thin rope in written communications...but when it comes down to private conversations in person, the Genies will be more spontaneous.
I wouldn't worry too much about a short lapse in return comm....but if it goes more than 3-4 days I would send a follow-up just to be sure that everything is a-ok. With Genies moving in and out of isolation so much, you never know what might be a legitimate concern and what might simply be overwork. Totally agree, tis better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.
Rahul actually sent me his company phone phone number in our 1st or 2nd email conversation. I only used it twice, once to verify that it was, in fact, his phone and the 2nd time to let him know we were at the terminal. This was on our last Alaska cruise in May. That was a first. Before that (pre-COVID), we relied on email. For me/us, the availability to Whatsapp and virtually live communications with our Genie is a vast improvement compared to pre-COVID. I actually had a situation that I felt needed my Genies attention, in the Pub. I sent him a text and he was there in less than 5 minutes. All I told him was that I needed him in the Pub "ASAP". Poor guy had no idea what he was walking in to. All went well and clear-up.

I guess it depends how much you love the "old bag"
Definitely cheaper to keep the older model....getting a newer model will cost you as it won't be just a standard bag it will come with lots of extra costs you may not have considered!
Difficult one this! Soft sided ones are obviously more likely to let us down as they are more fragile
Where as the hard sided while more robust come with other issues for a more senior person.
You could keep the older soft one and your wife could look into getting a new hard one to cater for her needs.
Theres always young men at the airports/cruise terminals who would assist in helping her with it.
You bring up some very interesting considerations to ponder over. I will consult with my wife and see, hard or soft, it's up to her. Maybe my Dr., can help with this issue.

Just curious, is it anyone’s experience to wait days without a reply from your Genie after initial contact. It has been our experience that responses come almost immediately. For our upcoming sailing, it has been more than two days.
For my May cruise, I think we waited a few days for Dexter's response to my response to his initial email. Dexter was our original Genie until we changed our cabin/suite. Then we were assigned Rahul because of the cabin change, our doing.
