  1. Royal is making a really big deal about this being C&A’s 25th anniversary so I keep hoping they’re going to really turn up the bonuses. But their recent history of cost cutting measures has me really worried. I only sail for those sweet, sweet JR shake discounts
  2. I’ve never experienced this but I would absolutely love to
  3. I believe @Matt said the remaining schedule is expected in the spring.
  4. So now, another question. If we royal-up from our panoramic suite into a different class of suite, will we still get the double C&A points or do we lose that because we royal-upped?
  5. If that’s the case, @NotPayinExtra’s point about false advertising is even more on point.
  6. The Hilton on Galveston island has regular shuttles to the port.
  7. It’s been more than a year, but when I last sailed on Nav, nobody at the port was checking arrival times.
  8. Why would you think you are not one of the sold-out suites? Unless you have a specific reason, I wouldn’t be worried. Suites are the first to get sold out.
  9. Col. Mustard: Wadsworth, am I right in thinking there's nobody else in this house? Wadsworth: Um... no. Col. Mustard: Then there is someone else in this house? Wadsworth: Sorry, I said "no" meaning "yes." Col. Mustard: "No" meaning "yes?" Look, I want a straight answer, is there someone else, or isn't there, yes, or no? Wadsworth: No. Col. Mustard: No there is, or no there isn't? Wadsworth: Yes.
  10. @smokeybandit makes an excellent point. Those sailings are coming.
  11. We’ll be in our first full suite on Adventure in just under two months. What should we do to make the most of it?
  12. This was something we also learned about on these boards. One major concern with not putting the trays out is that the hallways are so narrow, they can obstruct wheelchair users.
  13. I won’t go to the spa for the same reason. Navigator spa staff charged us full price for a port day special, argued that we didn’t ask for the deal ahead of time, and literally looked over my shoulder while I was writing in my tip and commented on it. On Allure, I had a staff member follow me continuing to pitch the same service despite me turning him down thrice.
  14. We just got off our first oasis class sailing and could not believe how incredible the aqua theater show was, but more incredible, how many people got up and left rather than stay 5 more minutes to applaud the entertainers!
  15. Really the only downsides to these rooms are 1) as @twangstersaid, the view can be somewhat obstructed by the structure of the rear of the ship and 2) the hike to the stairs/elevators.
  16. We just had this happen to us but I was too quick. The woman complained, “That’s weird, I don’t know why the doors were doing that,” then proceeded to hit Door Close on every subsequent floor. What a mystery!
  17. People who “forget” what a line is. This has been particularly an issue at Adventure Ocean. A line of parents will have formed and some parent will walk right past it with their kid, completely confused as to what this gathering of people might be.
