  2. It's pretty hidden. On the page where it says you sailing, under your Crown and Anchor points, there is option to click on.. 1. Select Different Cruise 2 Very Bottom - Don't see cruise "Let's add it now" 3. Skip adding info and click on "Browse Ships" towards the bottom 4. Select ship and sailing you want to see
  3. Understood but my point was that was never their official customer service method, it was their social media team going above and beyond. It probably got overused and was never designed for support so that's why it stopped. The official support method can be found here.   5. At least the pool is chlorinated, much better than the buffet!
  6. I've read in other posts that it's too split up for multigenerational families so they gravitate towards the bigger pools upstairs. The separate smaller kid pool idea is nice but in practice weird having pools that split up. Hopefully they can make some adjustments before next ship rolls out.
  7. This was never an issue issue when they allowed it on the balconies, people were a lot more spread out. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
  8. Thats not true at all if you do it the right way. There a few things to avoid if you want to get best rate. 1. Get a card with no foreign transaction fees, very common and easy to find these days. 2. When going to ATM or swiping card at store, always select local currency and never choose USD (conversion offers are always a scam at bad conversion rate, even though is looks familiar don't do it). Your bank will convert $ as close to actual conversion rate as you can get. 3. If taking cash, never choose ATM at airport or tourist area. As others stated, seek out bank that locals use. When withdrawing cash, don't forget tip #2
  9. How long since you've last used it? I think a year or two ago they outsourced most of their customer service.
  10. I checked and cruise planner shows exact same price as yesterday, just a different % off banner. I really hope they get a class action lawsuit against them one day for false advertising. It could be a multi billion dollar payout to anyone who has ever booked something through their website. Other companies have been hit with with them for way less deceptive advertising, not sure how they continue to get away with this.
  11. You can't be comparing to the cruise line that had an actual "Poop Cruise" according to the media? Surely that was a typo and you meant to say Seaborn or something real?
  12. I think first question to ask is it really issue with passengers or do lifeguards just not want to work? Maybe getting some "false positives?". In my local subdivision, the young lifeguards look for all sorts of reasons to shut pool down to not work as hard (lightening ridiculously far away, not enough staff, burnt feet, friends, etc.). Second, what's a realistic time to sanitize a pool? Waterparks can do it in about 1/2 an hour but I know Royal has higher standards. Even with that, I was under impression they could fully drain and refill pool fairly quickly, maybe not true anymore on newer ships? @Matt This would be an entertaining story at the very least.

  14. If the price goes up, would you say that's an IT glitch? I'm confused why you would blame technology team first for later boarding time options? Obviously it's working by design.
  15. I live 45 minutes from Galveston and fly frequently to Florida and other places to cruise. There is more to life than that little port with its very limited itineraries. You may actually save money flying to Florida for Icon (eventually) and see some cool new places.
  16. Make a wish (MAW) itself is great but Royal's partnership with them feels so self-serving. Royal raises money from us for MAW to give Royal a huge tax break. The they take money from MAW to put people on cruises. Come on.
  17. I heard through social media today that Harmony diverted to Cozumel today for a medical emergency and dropped off captain James. Anyone have more info?
  18. Don't forget that the ship shares resources. If there is a certain specialty drink that only a restaurant offers, you can likely get it from a nearby bar, especially with a little motivation $.
  19. It's a combination of both. Typically when boarding or in the evenings before dinner, you can get a photo done in front of a backdrop. At ports they offer them outside in front of the ship, they also go around to dinner tables. Sometimes they will offer them in front of a staircase, sail away party, on the promenade, or other places around ship. Prints or digital depends on the package you select, read the details.
  20. If you don't have the package, you can buy them for around $20 a photo.
  21. Are there any places online to find the original deck plans of a ship or various versions of deck plans through the years? I like to go back and look at some of the subtle (or not so subtle) changes made over the years. Would definitely love to see some old Voyager class and Radiance class plans.

  23. Just make sure your iphone software (iOS) is still up-to-date to where it's getting the security updates (iphone software (ios) version 15 and above currently).   24. Royal Caribbean recently required a force password change on most of its users, I would recommend trying to log into the website and seeing if a new password doesn't fix it. Also, if your iPhone is no longer getting Apple updates then you open to security vulnerabilities. I would highly recommend getting a new phone ASAP.
  25. Right, felt super lucky and surprised. We also received the upgrade notification about a month early if that made a difference.
